Hello folks! I am the Frisco Roamer and this channel is dedicated to travel, culture and lifestyle. What you will find are a variety of topics all related to travel. 1.) Information on places I've been. These videos consist of tips, advice, and information about a country 2.) Entertainment. I make spontaneous videos of randomly traveling to places and we just see what happens. 3.) I plan on doing interviews with various types of people. 4.) I plan to share various lifestyles and cultures, usually ones that are more obscure. For example, San Francisco street dance culture.
I loved it! The town looks awesome, the food is delicious , and the ocean and beaches are so pretty. It is a good place to visit with family or friends and have a good time. 🌴🌞 🏝 ⛵️ 🛶 🚤

@@destinationdezz1588 i cant answer these questions. I can answer them for myself. I like to explore, i like challenges and off the beaten path destinations more than popular tourists places, though i try to see it all. Now i can guess why others don’t. They want to keep it simple, they want to do what everyone else does. When i travel to places and its crowded i usually hit a side street or explore somewhere people arent. I dont like crowds and i know more difficult obscure places will have less people. Many people dont care where they go, they just want to show other people they were there. Travel to me is exploring, engaging with people, stepping out of my comfort zone, taking risks, and having fun. Half the stuff i do i dont even film. My conversations with people, for example. Off camera they are real, on camera they act a certain way. I dont like filming my interactions with most people because once the camera is on it becomes a bit less authentic and i dont do and travel the way most people do, so i keep my videos for the most part neutral and simple. But to me Sapa is very touristy. You want less touristy go to Babe Lake which is far north. That place is a trip, but it was before i started making videos. No one speaks anything but Vietnamese, all you will eat is Vietnamese food, but it’s a beautiful and interesting natural place. Now i havent been to caobang because well there are many places to visit in Vietnam. This particular video i made for my parents who wanted to explore central and north vietnam. I made some recommendations and also kept it simple because they are old. If i was alone it would have been much different as most of the locations on this video i have been to multiple times. I have several sapa videos. But again, when i speak on others, i am making guesses. I cant answer why people dont have videos on sapa and cao bang, but both destinations require long bus rides. Maybe they dont want to do that?
@@Darewrecks415 fair assessment bro I’m the same way when I travel, I like the less traveled places so I can get the real authentic feel, I don’t tours if I can go on my own. Just thought I ask! All the best on your travels! I’m actually traveling to Vietnam this November and plan to visit a lot of craft villages, but I love waterfalls and Ban Gioc is a bucket list for me

If you got time you might want to check out babe lake. Its out of the way. Its a good experience.

St Joseph Cathedral is so beautiful. When I was in Hanoi I liked going there early in the morning because nearby there is an amazing place serving one of the best pho bo I have ever had! 🇻🇳
Right on. Much appreciated. It depends where you want to go. Ive lived there for 3 years and i was fine anytime. Its cooler from November to feb. If you want to go to Sapa, id recommend around septemberish. If you can only go in august, id still go, but when it rains out there, it really rains.
Yeah I can only go in August for like two weeks. I'm trying to arrange a trip with like 20 adults and would love to tour Vietnam, I was a little skeptical about the rain/heat.
@@user-zh6cs2im2q well in the south its always hot, at least to me. Central is hot as well except for Da Lat, which has like a cooler micro climate. North gets cold during winter but will be hot in the north as well during August. Where in Vietnam do you want to go?
I don't have an exact itinerary yet but something like this. Arrive at Ho Chi Minh city, stay there for like 3-4 days and explore the neighboring cities then travel to Hue for like 2-3 days and local cities then ultimately arriving at Hanoi for 8-9 days and traveling around to HaLong bay cruise, sapa, mu cang chai...
@@user-zh6cs2im2q the rain will probably be heavier in the south during that time. So i think its best to stay in the south for the least amount of time. Central and north should be more favorable. I took a train from ho chi minh to ha noi. I loved it. If you want to check out my train experience, i have a video in my vietnam playlist. I loved the train ride. You could take the train to central vietnam. Hang out there and then take the train up north.
If i didnt have all my gear, i probably would have just rolled down. It was hella fun and it wasnt that hard. Just the last dune was a tiring, but anyone with some mental fortitude and decent health can do it. Im not a hardcore hiker and the French couple i caught up to were not hikers. They were just determined to reach the top like me. We were wearing jeans.
Mojave desert is one of the most amazing parks in California diverse, lots of different places to explore, its just empty of people which to me is a great thing. I would have hated walking up that dune with 200 other people.
Actually, this island is hella small and I would not recommend if you go on a weekend or during a vacation that Taiwanese get, unless you enjoy large crowds. I would recommend Penghu, Orchid island, or Green Island. They are popular too, but this one was just insane when I left. I left on a Friday and everyone was coming in. Tour busses and the whole 9.

@@Darewrecks415 🤣🤣🤣🤣 a couple weeks!!! Na, I value my life. I choose not to stay longer. Was supposed too. Three days were enough each time I've gone. My state has its own problems. But I like living somewhere they prosecute people for crimes.
@@crackajack5 so basically you know little about San Francisco. There is some truth to what you say, but your view is a fantasy. So what town or city you from? State? And if you were in SF for 3 days, why would you stay in the TL or near it? That tells me you know nothing about my city. You could have stayed in my neighborhood. You could have stayed in so many areas of SF, yet you chose to stay in and around the TL? Do you even know where this park is?
