30:43 fun fact, both Scorpions and Liu’s fatalities return in MK2, and both require the same inputs… HOWEVER, if you do D,D,U,U,HP instead of U,U,HP for Scorpions fatality, you’ll get Dans Toasty after the fatality finishes!
A UMK3 play through would be groovy! Some general tips for the first 3 games, as I play them on a Arcade1Up cab: Low crouching punches and kicks can aid you if the AI gets stupid to walk into ya while you’re crouching/ getting up, walking is WAY better than forward jumping into the bastard, as the AI will almost all the time either jump kick you or attack you with a special, NEVER run at the enemy in UMK3, ESPECIALLY if you waste all your stamina, launchers are the best kind of combos for damage, for example Liu’s is… 40ish % if you’re fast enough, and finally, NEVER throw the CPU, I’m sure that’s kinda obvious as just straight punches will get the AI to throw you but it helps to remember avoiding throws all together
I'm looking forward into doing the 3rd game, but also not lol, idk what's with the ports and stuff of the original Arcade version but man they are Brutal. I'm thinking of using the Usual characters I always use but also using maybe Smoke. There is a way to Unlock em some how. I’m pretty early in the video but Subs slide is back + LP + Block + LK, also if you do a forward jump then immediately press kick it’ll knock back the AI, also upper cuts into slide is great for damage
Thanks for the tip my dude, and Yeh, The Uppercuts tho are Really good to Deal a great amount of Damage to the Ai. Especially with the slide. Just gotta practice a bit more at it. But thank you for the tips man, I really appreciate it!

Cuz if you do, there’s this app called Fightcade, which houses the first 3 MK’s, and many many more retro games. It also has online features so you can fight other people if you ever wanted to. It’s pretty cool, and I’d recommend checking it out

Depends if ya have the Azure Helment unlocked, With that it'll do more damage. And also timing or Attacks and Dodges at the right time. Takes practice. The Amount of times I've died on this mission is insane. but spamming that Combo is effective. No really good strat sadly. But hopefully studying my Vid Helps. Ya Got this my Dude <3
We call that getting Weibull'd. That happened back in 2005 with Nicchae and Weibull got bombarded with 16 or 20 orbs. Sorry you experienced it but it is kinda funny as it happens. LOL
It took me awhile to get passed the "Traps" stage, then I lost interest and then I never found a way to fix my Genesis. Pick it up soon, easier to play on a PS4 controller since I'm using the Sega Genesis Classics to play it. Nothing like nostalgia
