Actually it does show that it’s installed correctly, if it wasn’t installed correctly than there would be red showing where the gray latch is that is attached to the top tether
We just bought this car seat and it’s going right back. Absolutely awful to install and even after watching you installation video, the side to side movement from the shoulders and head area is completely unsafe. No knock to you, but this car seat was poorly designed and appears as if their testing was minimal on different car manufacturers. 10/10 would not put my child in this seat.
This was an odd one! The manual is awful! I was a CPST years ago. I haven’t been up on my research. My brother got this seat for my niece and my jaw dropped looking at the manual. I frantically flew to RU-vid to find this channel or the car seat lady for an install. Thank you so much for helping!
Thank you for making this video and helping me avoid breaking something in my house from anger. I'm returning this product that I bought today. This car seat should be used to test the intelligence of astronaut prospects.
It’s a function of the extra lock that’s under the seat not allowing the belt to retract. The seat cushion compresses, the seat shifts and finds a better spot, the belt loosens because the extra lock that the built in doesn’t allow the seat belt to retract any more. It’s pinching the belt. Without unbuckling the seatbelt, flip the door up, undo the extra latch, tighten the seatbelt back in to the retractor, and relock it. You do that twice, I believe it’ll hardly move again. There are few things in life that won’t shift and loosen straps after a little bouncing around.
