Hey I'm Dan, and I recently bought a School Bus that I am converting to a Skoolie. I'm always looking for the next adventure and excited to see what the future holds. The goal is to convert this bus and travel around the United States. Looking forward to the build and the adventures to come.

I’ve been watching skoolie door videos and getting increasingly frustrated that no one has mentioned the security issues with pins on the outside. Thank you!!
Incredible. Do you still have the duct calculations you used? I'm guessing it involved trying to get equal volume to all spaces, having a certain air velocity, and working within the available static pressure of the blower. I'm looking at a design in my house with one of these slim duct air handlers, they are a great option. Thanks for sharing!
It's a good looking build, but I'm not too thrilled with the colors. Too much beige and shades of beige on the inside, and too much baby blue on the outside. The outside could do the a splash of accent colors, and the inside looks like a model home done by a house flipper. Other than that, it's easy to see the skill going into this. Might want to add some curtains for the bedroom and loft space for privacy, too.
I hate your video you make everything look so easy 🤬 I shot a staple through my glove and got stuck to the wall 😂😂😂😂😂.Seriously I've gotten so many ideas for your work Thanks for sharing your work 👍👍👍👍👍😁
In all these retrofits I watch, I am appalled by the enormous amount of weight and fire hazard added to the chassis by using conventional framing lumber, particle board, plywood cabinets, etc., instead of going the smart way and using skinned foam / composites/ hex core panels, as is done in aviation applications....isn't there anyone out there that has moved beyond 2 x 4's and plywood?
I'm planning on making a skoolie as eco friendly as possible all electric bus with a electric incinerator toilet but shower, sinks and washer with water only difference is no hookups needed to public areas for RVs
I’m grateful and can appreciate this but I didn’t like the design; it just looks like a house. Let’s have more design fun and exploration in the future Get messy, make mistakes and design with freedom in mind; Design is form and function and this design was def function Out some form, freedom, creativity and color (even warm neutrals if preferred) can be played with and absolutely still in this palette’s alley.
Any issues with the transformer being for EU standard 220v with live, neutral and earth whereas the unit requires US split phase live, live, earth? Seville told me it wouldn’t work when I asked. Assume no unexpected issues or case electrification due to bonded neutral?
I would not have place a wall under the unit; if you ever have a coil leak you will have to either take down the wall or remove the whole slim duct to access the coil and replace it.
To the poster - I saw your bus on marketplace but I don't have a Facebook. Is there a way I can get in contact with you? I happen to be in Princeton and would love to talk about this amazing build!
Excellent job with the conversion!! Absolutely beautiful interior design and color choices. Watched your other time lapse build video earlier and took several pages of notes.
