Im first here ill tell you how gout develops Gout develops due to the accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints. Here’s a basic outline of the process: 1. **Increased Uric Acid Levels**: Uric acid is a waste product formed when the body breaks down purines, substances found in certain foods and drinks. Normally, uric acid is dissolved in the blood and excreted through the kidneys in urine. Gout can occur if the body produces too much uric acid or if the kidneys don’t remove it efficiently. 2. **Crystal Formation**: When uric acid levels become too high, it can form needle-like crystals of monosodium urate. These crystals tend to deposit in joints and surrounding tissues. 3. **Inflammation and Pain**: The presence of these crystals triggers an inflammatory response in the joint, leading to pain, redness, swelling, and warmth. This typically results in a sudden and severe attack of pain, often affecting one joint, like the big toe. 4. **Recurrent Attacks**: Without treatment, gout can lead to recurrent attacks and potentially cause joint damage over time. Chronic gout can also lead to the formation of tophi, which are lumps of uric acid crystals under the skin. Managing gout often involves medications to lower uric acid levels and lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of attacks.

What are the possibilities of getting more than one at a time? I feel I have tension and migraine, maybe a cluster too at the same time often. One side of my head throbs, especially one eye and sometimes just above it. I also get nauseas which usually leads to vomiting, sensitivity, fever etc. I also find my neck aches and feels better with a massage. Or is this the 2nd danger sign? 😅 looks like I need to go see my doctor...
An excellent video - I am aware of awaking multiple times when just on the edge of sleep by a noise in the throat, rarely wake refreshed, feel fatigued often with headache. Have had sleep study, yet because most of my stops in breathing are less than ten seconds I'm classed as not requiring treatment. I read that the 'ten second' rule was an arbitary figure determined by the French doctor who created the definitions of sleep apnoea - and that he could just as well have made the figure 5,6,7 or whatever seconds. The problem for patients who have all the classic symptoms is that no treatment is required as they don't fit the definition - irrespective of how they feel. UK ENT specialist Mr. Vik Veer made a youtube video where he talks of his frustration about patients who aren't helped because they don't fit the definitions for sleep apnoea.

I have a wound on my leg. There's no pus or typical signs of infection (although there is heat from the area and pain out of proportion) but I just knocked it (VERY slightly) and it felt wet and when I looked the skin did what I can only describe as SLIMED off my leg, it was all layers of skin, including deep layers, but not deep enough to affect the superficial fascia or subcutaneous fat. But the skin was mushy and black. Does that sound like a soft tissue infection and could the black mushy skin that sloughed off be necrosis?
I'm really confused. I can feel my heartbeat since nearly 15 years in my belly. Sometime so hard that a long neckles would jump up and down. I never suspected anything. Sometimes it's more. Sometimes it's gone. Should I be concerned? Right know it's there. That's why I found the video.

I don't know if i have migraines or cluster...i have pain in my eye... eye lid area...it only on one eye... sometimes it went to the other eye too.... it perhaps cluster but my eye don't swallow nor do it becomes droopy or red.....and for example if I'm having a pain in my right eye then the back side of the head will pain too.... can you tell me is it migraine or cluster?
I have GERD. It is 7:00 a.m. almost 8:00 a.m. and I haven't slept at all 😢 it happens pretty often... I'm not sure what to try anymore. Ppis are not really helping me that much anymore.

Wow, finally someone who understands the benefits of Pressure Support for UARS. I am myself a UARS survivor, I endured 3 years of medical gaslighting while treating myself out of necessity.
