We're Stephen and Claire, two zany Brits who love random adventures (and botanical gardens!). You may know us as the dynamic duo who filmed and edited Mapperton Live and American Viscountess. We're now documenting our adventures around the UK and further afield, as well as our life running a video production company.
We've been on an incredible Scottish road trip, taking in Edinburgh, the Trossachs, the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. We then gave our unique take on gardens in London, Italy and Dorset, before picking strawberries and baking a cake. More recently, we have been exploring the best (and most unusual) places in our local area, including a crazy and dangerous event in Devon, a place where you can feed hundreds of swans, and the only thatched brewery in Brtitain, still making real ale in the traditional method to this day.

Hi, we stayed in a place called Tin House on the Isle of Skye in Glendale. If you just google 'Tin house Isle of Skye' it will come up. It's an amazing place to stay. Thanks for watching
So enjoyed this video! You both gave us great info and it definitely was not boring. It was actually quite cool and I love the music. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you for watching, we really enjoyed researching and sharing these places with you. Stephen had greta fun creating all the music, glad you liked it. Thank you for your continued support, our next Orkney adventure will be airing soon :)
Hello, I'm from Brazil and we will go to the the cotswolds in october, me and my girlfriend rented a Caddy converted into a motorhome, I think it is smaller than yours, I will show her your video, and by the way, I loved The cotswolds video too ❤
Hi, thank you for watching, we hope you have an amazing time in the Cotswolds, it's a beautiful part of the UK. Hopefully our Cotswolds tour has given you soon ideas of places to visit. The converted caddy sounds really fun, have a great time :)
Hey a quick question me and my family are in Lyme Regis and are looking for fossils soon what type of rocks should we break into and what do they look like??❤
Hi, hope you have a wonderful trip to Lyme and find lots of fossils. We have actually done a video on fossil hunting in Lyme which gives lots of tips and will show you examples of the rock to look for. It's under ''ALL THESE #ammonites from FIRST TIME #Fossil Hunt in Lyme Regis'. We are defiantly not fossil experts buts hope this helps :)
The stones are moved into place by laying seaweed on the ground and dragging the stones across it to move it long distance. That’s the best working theory from archaeologists here in Orkney.
I have always loved your talent for pairing up music to videos, even back with AV and ML. But these custom songs were awesome. Were they all custom? Obviously the last one was, but I am now wondering about all of them. How does that work? Beyond the music, of course I love the vidoes too - thank you for bringing us on a tour of somewhere I will likely not get to visit myself. Very cool!
Thank you for your kind comment. Stephen adds all the music and had great fun creating all of the music in this episode. It was all created with AI software, Stephen added some of his own lyrics too. It's incredible what technology can do now. Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed coming along on our Orkney adventures, the next episode will air soon :)
My daughter has just moved to Mallaig. The perfect excuse to spend some time on Skye, where I saw three Sea Eagles from the Cliffs at Portree, i got some shots of one that drifted right overhead. I will get them up on my computer and if good enough I will share. There were Golden Eagles near our campsite which was a bonus. The Island and the Western Highlands are a wildlife utopia. I enjoyed your video and like your style well done.
Skye is an incredible place, you're lucky you have an excuse to keep visiting and exploring such a beautiful place. It really is a wildlife photographers heaven. Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed it. Hope you have many wonderful times exploring Skye wit your daughter :)
Claire, my ears are always cold. I love your headband with the ear covers. Please tell me who makes it and if it is available on line. I watch every video y’all post. Thanks, from Texas.❤
Thank you, cold ears are the worst! The pink headband (I think features in this video) I actually brought on a tiny Orkney island we visited, it was handmade by a local and the money went to charity, we feature me buying it in an upcoming video. My tweed cream headband I brought a few years ago at a craft market and sadly there isn't a label saying where it was from. I'm sure you will be able to get one online, they are brilliant for keeping your ears toasty! Thank you for your contained support and glad you enjoy our adventures :)
Hope to see more of you two fun and interesting travels. Also love the songs. (Never heard the dialect songs like this before. Thanks for the translation!)❤❤❤ Maybe some videos behind the scene about your original song recording as well?
Hi, thank you for watching, our next Orkney adventure will be airing very soon. Glad you enjoyed the songs, Stephen had great fun creating them using AI software but changing some lyrics. :)
Wow what a set-up!!! I could get behind "caravan" camping. Especially with espresso in the mornings ❤ Puppy sitting... I wondered what happened to Teddy...
Thanks for watching, our little set up is great for shorter trips. Stephen would love to have a proper coffee machine in there! Teddy is all good, he will make an appearance in some upcoming videos I'm sure. He enjoys holidays wiht Claire's parents while we are away looking after other peoples pets. :)
Orkney is full of incredible history, we loved researching about all the sites for this video and learnt so much. Thanks for watching and your continued support :)
Hi Polly, thanks for watching. Stephen had fun creating all of the music for this episode. I'm sure there will be more custom music making an appearance in our videos :)
Wow. Those places really make me think about what’s important in a house. Shelter from the weather! Put the roof back on and add a fire on the hearth. It would’ve been great back then. We’ve come a long way for sure! I loved your music especially the ones that were translated. They were beautiful.
It was fascinating to see how people lived all those years ago and how well some of the houses had been preserved. You defiantly needed shelter from the Orkney wind and rain! Thanks for watching :)
Thank you for watching, no need to apologies for watching late. We had to take a longer break than planned due to work commitments but hopefully will be posting more regularly. Our next Orkney video will be airing this Saturday 😊

What I like about your video is how, unlike on TV, we get to see the human parts of travelling! Acknowledging flagging energy and wanting to find lunch and the fact that 2 different personalities are not always in sync, makes it all the more relatable. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind comment and for watching. We try and keep our videos as real as possible to what we experienced. Claire wants to find lunch in a lot of our videos 😂 please consider subscribing if you aren't already 😊
Hi Jackie, fear not, we are both doing well, we have just been extremely busy with work so our videos had to take a bit of a back seat. However you will be pleased to know that we have our next Orkney video out this Saturday :)
