Any chance you have the torque specs for that particular HPOP to block, (3 bolts) and the two J tube bolts?

Thanks for this video it's exactly my problem. Run until hot for about 20 minutes then stall and die, no restart with cranking vibration from the engine. Let it cool and you can start it up again. My question is the fitting to the top of the HPOP, can you tell me thread size or where to buy? I need to test mine like this. Also, did you change out your oil logs yet and how well has that worked for you? Mine is early May 2003 and thanks!

Really should drain them lower axle plugs, my emax 25 holds nearly a gallon in each side. Recently I tried another hst fluid Sinopec 10w30 GL-4 tractor hydraulic brake transmission fluid and around half the price of the Shell and same or better specs, I think better specs because before using this fluid I've never had my complete rear end come off the ground flat footed.

3:03 Use that to keep your clutch disengaged when youre going to park it for long periods of time. Prevents the clutch surfaces from seizing together.I just purchased a 1526 as well. Mine is a HST cause I'm a bitch lol. My wife uses it too so it's easy for her to operate it.

I'm happy to see someone else that likes Mahindra. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and reviews of the 1526, its appreciated! I'm looking to buy a small tractor this year and I've got my eyes set on the Mahindra 1626 shuttle shift...to me it seems that it is far more caps than any other machine in that size/power class.. I dont care what color it is as long as it performs well and built solid. I always hear people talking about how the Mahindra Tractors are too heavy...I just don't understand their train of thought, tractors are meant for dirt works, weight equals traction! Well done on your review, I hope that you have a wonderful weekend! Don

the dealybob on your clutch pedal is for when you foresee the tractor being parked for extended periods of time... something to do with making the clutch not stick. I never used it on my Max XL while I had it, which is more or less the same tractor with different tires and sheet metal. The 1526 is the model I should have bought. Agree on the power of the little Mitsubishi diesel. plenty of grunt for that frame size. I loaded all 4 tires on mine and it still could have used probably another 500lbs.

You give a very good and knowledgeable review. You have done your homework on the other brands too. I have the Mahindra Max 26xl shuttle and Mahindra 1538 shuttle and may add a 1526 shuttle. I use my tractors on a sheep & hay farm. I also own a Kubota M5700 (2002 year--before the DPF filters came out). I did have a Kubota L3301 and after struggling with stupid DPF filter regeneration problem traded it on a Mahindra which doesn't have that problem. I prefer the Mitsubishi made Mahindras over the Tym (South Korea) made Mahindras.

I purchased the Mahindra 1526S with front end loader, backhoe and a brush hog about 3 months ago from a dealer in central Texas. I absolutely love it. I had a Kabota the same size a few decades back and it did not come close to being able to do what this Mahindra can do. Plus the Kabota had an aluminum casing which cracked and I had to use 1/2 all tread to hold it together so the tractor would not break in half. The backhoe is a piece of cake to take off and put back on and it will pick the tractor off the ground, which is a must. As for the exhaust soot on the front end loader, I just made a diverter with a 1" copper 45 and solved that problem.

Hey man, good review. I am pretty settled on the Mahindra 1500 series as well, just haven't decided 1526 or 1533 yet. I'll be stopping by the dealer soon to give both a test drive and like you I'm going for the shuttle. Supposedly Mahindra makes the most bulletproof HST but nothing puts power to the ground like good old gears in my opinion and if theres tractors do last 40 or 50 years, it'll be the shuttles that I think will take the cake. BTW, the hook on the clutch is to hold it in if the tractor is not in use for very very long periods of time. Keeps the clutch plates from seizing together after like a sub zero winter or something. I live in VA so I don't think I'd ever have that issue but I like that they thought about it. I do have one question in particular. I'm going to be doing alot of woods work trying to transform my families property. For the most part about 22 of our thirty acres hasn't had anything done to it except my pops logged the trees, which made the undergrowth hellacious but it's getting back under control as the canopy is returning as the oaks and aspens have regrown for about 22 years. I was considering the industrial R4's because they seem to be a good mix of grip and rubber and are a little wider. But I noticed you are running the narrower Ag R1 tires. Looks hella muddy lol. Would you suggest them for non-field use? Would they grip better in the woods(which could be very muddy at times, a few slopes in the valley) or stick with the Industrials? I outfitted one of my pulling mowers with super lugs a few years back and the amount of traction I got in the woods was bananas. The lug pattern is a little more akin to the Ag tires so just looking for some feedback from you. Thanks a bunch!
@lucasbroz
@lucasbroz 7 лет назад
ThatDudeSirraj Thanks for answering my question on the clutch thing. Go with the ag tires if you plan to use it in any mud. Those industrial tires are good if you have a solid bottom eventually but if you're off the beaten trail you need the ag tires. I got stuck in about 5 inches of mud with the industrial tires and haven't come close to getting stuck with the ag tires.

I have the 1526 it is far superior to the "other brands" the Kubota has a bigger axel as its cast aluminum so it needs to be much bigger.....I just hit 11 hours only had it for a couple weeks but there is no comparison Apple to apples. The new holland and many others in the same size are made by LS and are very problematic from reviews even from the dealers. Buy from a good dealer and warranties are not an issue. My dealer has been in business for over a hundred years, like you said as well, Mitsubishi motor is one of the best! Assembled in Texas also...

Been doing a lot of research lately as I am in need of a tractor.. after a few weeks of learning about the different brands, sizes, etc, I have settled at the decision of a Mahindra 1526 as well.. I want the shuttle because I don't care for HSTs. between all the reading and some informative videos(and comments like yours), I honestly believe I'm making the best decision I can with my money!!
