Brilliant song, Ralph ;-) The Peking is now back in its original home harbour in Hamburg, Germany where it has been going through a much needed major restoration project for several years after many years as a museum ship in New York Harbour - soon to be opened for visitors again ;-)
Criminal how little views and comments. This is one of the greatest guitarists England has ever produced and he has had a very hard journey back to this point but it blows my mind how well he played at the end. As if nothing had happened. The wink at the end shows how confident he felt. Beautiful rendition.

This is from the Justin Townes Earle Tour they did together way back when. He later wrote New South Wales about this very tour, and the time he spent with JT in Australia. Super glad you recorded part of this tour, it's very rare. Only wish you had all of it haha. Cheers.
His voice is wild. Booming verses without hardly any effort when he's holding his notes. This would be astounding even without any instrumental backing.
