Thank you very much for sharing your time and experience with us. A parts list with measurements could have been useful.

Hi, I saw your video and thought you showed so well so I'm now building a similar table based on yor measurements. I need answers to this in order to continue. How do you attach the parts that is between the table top and the shelf? How do I know exactly how and where I should attach the side panels with the legs? Thanks for the great video
@fr3ak0ut32
@fr3ak0ut32 3 года назад
Hey philip! To your first question: I didn't! As i stated in the video, the dividers are just held in place by the shelf and the rack gear mounted onto them. If you want to attach them properly, i would suggest using wooden dowels. 2) Yeah, that's a bit tricky ;) Going parallelly down from the top of the sidepanel measure: thickness of shelf + height of divider + thickness of tabletop. That's for the leg position on the vertical axis. For the horizontal axis: The top back corner of the sidepanel has to be in line with the bottom back corner of the leg. Hope that helps! It's kinda hard to explain, but looking at the 3D model should help :) Good luck, Daniel

Hi, thanks! :) Yeah, it does tip forward if you pull it out too far, but i normally wouldn't ever need to pull it out that much

Great video ! Thanks for sharing ! You deserve more views. Also, I'm kinda jealous you got to use the Festool TS 55 tracksaw, and everything else in your friend's workshop. I wish I could get my hands on such top notch tools one day. 😅 Cheers !

Hi Daniel. Thanks for the video. I'm in europe as well reasearch this DIY project. It would make sense to base it on your approach. I have a couple of questions: 1) Can you still fit an 88 keyboard after shortening the width? 2) What is they tabletop heigth? 3) Would you be willing to share the notes with dimensions and angles? (The ones that are in the video).. 3) What were the dimensions of the boards your worked with? 120x240? Best from Denmark

Hey Thomas :) To all your questions regarding measurements: You can open the SketchUp model and use the "Measuring Tape" tool and the Angle-measurement tool (called "Protractor" in SketchUp) to get all the exact values. If you aren't familiar with SketchUp, it's quiet intuitive and easy to use. There are a lot of good tutorials on youtube and you'll be able to measure out everything you need in a couple of minutes :). I wouldn't rely on the drawings you see in the video, as they may not be totally accurate. To your last question: I used 150x300 boards. hope that helps, Daniel
