I just tried it and it was working for me. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DBkWkCn there’s technically no brand name. If you see one of the displays with a brand name that’s just someone who is drop shipping them and they just made their own brand name and selling them for more.
Hey Jim i’ve been watching all your videos about the raptor the pros the cons and the upgrades i’ve been looking at a ford raptor in MN I live in SD so right next to Iowa but it’s listed for 49,900 it has 49k miles carbon fiber package all the bells and whistles it doesn’t have the raptor decals on it which I could throw on later down the road but idk if it’s a good deal or not and it also has been in an accident but the dealership got the story of what happened and they explained everything thru to me I just don’t know what to do what’s your opinion!
My 2019 had 59k and I paid $49 before taxes. The wrecked part I would probably overlook if it was minor and there's nothing bad on the Carfax (branded/salvage or total loss vehicle). To be honest I always think about removing my raptor decals. As long as the wreck was minor price seems around the ballpark I've been seeing them go for lately.
@@f1fiftyjimmy must be you’re city I wonder no they go by where car is registered I think it’s where I live Florida all is expensive here you’re lucky man
@@Motonathan yes you can. I throw RU-vid on when waiting or road trips. Touchscreen is like a phone where it uses heat sensitivity so touchscreen works just fine.
I bought the same wheel , unfortunately I returned it because I was too nervous to try doing it myself and getting it done at a shop was like $300 but super excited to see how it looks on your raptor, maybe I buy it again after I watch your installation video, I just bought the carbon fiber shifter so I’ll definitely be watching your video while installing it. Love the channel man , nice to see other 2nd gen raptor videos specially since RU-vid is flooded with raptor r videos right now, of course I love the raptor r but my bank account doesn’t lol
@@kingbear2458 man I just finished the video/install. I could swap my factory one back in probably 20 minutes. It’s pretty easy. Video will be up by end of week
I had an 18’ raptor. Bought in new in 2018 and owned it until 2021. Truck gained 68k miles in that time period from new. During that period it was in the shop a total of 18 times. 4 for cam phasers, 3 for 4wd issues, 2 for the sunroof track breaking, 2 for the transmission and a whole list of other issues. That was my first and last ford. Best riding truck I’ve had but at what cost…
Bought a 23 out of state because the greedy bastards in California wanted 10k over at the time of purchase. Its been probably the best most enjoyable truck I've ever owned. If I have to road trip , the Raptor is my choice. Even over my 2021 Carrera S. Only issue I can complain about is the Apple CarPlay . It sucks. But it sucks in my other vehicles as well, so obviously not Raptor specific. Ecoboost is fine for me , because mainly I refuse to pay 20k over for any vehicle., much less a Raptor R. Well, I might think about the 20k over on a GTR Nismo, but probably not. Cheers.
Well I feel super lucky I bought a velociraptor 802 package including carbon package has all think 2019 retail 100k ish after that year or now it’s 118k area 63k miles paid 45900 plus tax and 1k dealer fee Florida car. I’m super lucky the turbo makes this pshhh noise and it’s as fast as a sports car also has big Goodrich tires 35 not noisy at all.
Nice to see you back! - I just ordered the Morimoto headlights so the ambers are brighter during the day. I really like the look of the DRL of the Gen 3s. Will be installing on my 2019 next week
Another solid video, Jim. Just straight to the point with everything! We released a portable Jump starter. Can we invite you to do a review? We have emailed for an inquiry.
Genuine question: what’s the appeal of a vehicle like this? With the crew cab and the liner carpet it feels like you’re just trying to turn it into an SUV.
Surprise there was no mention about potential sunroof issues.. I sought out a Gen 2 without a sunroof due to all the issues I saw and read other Gen 2 Raptor owners had experienced.
When using the sync side of things it uses OEM mic. If you are using the android side you will use the mic on the lower left of screen or if you installed the aftermarket one that comes in the kit. I didn't install it. Whenever I'm on a call I usually use sync to utilize factory mic.
Step Wear, not cupping. That's suspension, not tire. I've got 27k on a set of Klever RT 33s with the proper alignment and suspension. Rotating at 7,500 to 10k miles. My tires are still 80% tread, zero uneven wear pattern. Also if you're over 2.5" lift, stock components don't have the proper geometry anymore. You said it best, not the tire. If you're hauling a trailer a lot, that's only going to increase this specific issue.
I just test drove a 2018 Raptor with the luxury package, 60,000 miles, asking price $41,000. Unfortunately I bought a new 2023 Trail Boss last year. Lol. But it sounds like a good deal for somebody.
