@@vgnvideogameninja2930 You cared enough to comment ;). And I wouldn't be so sure about sales. According to Nikkei Asia... "Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest lose earnings magic for Square Enix" Net profit down 70%.
@@Linkman247 Caring has nothing to do with it though. You guys are just nitpicking where it's unnecessary. Just be grateful they're making it at all, and that it's a global release instead of waiting a year to be localized.
@@vgnvideogameninja2930 Video Games are art yes? And because they are both art and a product, they are not above criticism. If a person doesn't like the changes made to the art? They are entirely justified in their criticism of that. And they are not obligated to purchase the game either as a result. If someone wants to buy the game? That is their choice and they can spend their money how they wish. But no company is entitled to our money. What you are arguing is essentially "Don't ask questions, just consume product and get excited for next product." What you call nitpicking? Is actually people that do care for the integrity of the game and it's artwork to be preserved as it was designed by the late Akira Toriyama. His art is being destroyed. You think it may be nitpicking. But I would point out that other series and properties have seen countless tinkering to the point the original no longer exists. Star Wars has constantly been tinkered with by George Lucas with edit after edit that it's almost impossible to watch it as it released in theaters. And that's to say nothing of shows that alter the source material because they think they know better than the original writer. Netflix's Witcher. Amazon's Rings of Power have as much to do with the source material as a lion with zebra stripes. It's especially disrespectful that they are doing so after Toriyama's death. If you want to play it? Have at it. But folks who don't like the changes are not obligated to support it financially. Or they will wait till it hits PC and mod it.
Why are you letting them ruin Dragon Quest III. I'm sorry but if you can't even respect the character art design of Akira Toriyama in his death year it's so shameful. to see just how far your game company has fallen to be just a expected disappointment. Your so afraid you can't even put a male and female descriptive in your game. It's very lame. my wife and I, along with many of my other friends will not be buying this much anticipated and loved game. Just going to add it to the giant list of disappointments you are now expected and known for, of things not to buy. Very sad
