Hi I’m a new player to the game and I’ve already done some 360s but reverse drifting is hard o can’t keep the car straight and it’s not the same as a normal 360 to turn can I have help or a tune for controller?
heya, I don't have a tune for a controller because I use keyboard and mouse, but I have advice for you. reverse drifting is pretty difficult to learn, if I was you I'd stick to forward drifting and practise really good lines. if you really want to reverse drift, you just have to practise hours and hours into it. I can't really help you with that
heya, you should try using the A or D keys to counter steer, or if that doesn't work then you should try and find a tune for the wheels that suits you! if not, I could try add you and go through it with you at some point
simply just turn into the turn, let go of accelerator and let it spin. then you have to apply throttle again once it straightens out. it's a lot more simple than doing a 360 forwards
This is probably because the wheels are too sensitive. Also, $olitary's wheel system is already janky enough, so trying to drift in the reverse order is much harder to control. If you find yourself oversteering constantly, try to do a 360 into each corner. It can help to maintain the drift and also keep full control over the car. Hope this helps :)
You could use the Nissan Silvia S13 KS (both work) and use the following settings; Wheel Dampening: 857 Wheel Aggressiveness: 2900 Suspension Dampening: 678
To mfs who are struggling this may help (stay in Omuro Circuit) vvvvvvvv For STEERING in Team Kobayashi S13 K'S (with slammed suspension (by pressing 1)) I found this setup to be easier: Dampening 766, Aggressiveness 3174 Fuck around with the video's setup first though to get the hang of countersteer (and if the donut bullshit doesn't work just screw around in the track (near the high speed corner behind the containers donut area) to get the hang of it, then do the donut when you're comfortable) Oh and you can try full throttle until something clicks in your head before you feather the gas There's also a cool trick where you full throttle in a straight line (preferably straight OR wheels slightly turned to the opposite side of where you wanna turn into) and then let go of throttle, steer into the same way you were slightly steering, and once you hit the 180 degree point, steer into the opposite direction and wham bam thank you maam you've reached your destination, THIS is SUPER useful for changing directions quickly. (you can also just do a full 360 to be cool which is useful for straights and long corners. (I wrote this within my full 3 hours of trying reverse drift so it's probably shit but I hope it helps somebody, and I'm very aware the writing is shit and undecipherable)
Hiya! Glad you're interested! The configs are as followed: |STEERING| DAMPENING: 950 AGGRESSIVENESS: 3000 |SUSPENSION| DAMPENING: Anything from 300-700 (I use 350) Hope this helps!!
@@Pahskie I do admit I am not the best at the track yet. Still working on it! Gotta practise a bit but slowly getting there! Will make another video soon though so don't fret!
