You can find us on a cruise ship doing cruise life or venturing off in our Winnebago Revel doing van life.
As we travel with our 2 daughters, a baby and a toddler, things don’t always go according to plan. We have to adapt and make sure we pack our patience and lots of snacks!

OMG I cried with you. My three year old asked me “what happened?” 😂 September will be her first experience in Camp Carnival, and she has never been in daycare either. I’m sure she’ll be fine though, because she loves playing with other children.
It’s said that children under 1 very rarely get seasick so we’ve never brought anything for our littles. If your babe gets car sick or you’re concerned about potential sea sickness, ask your pediatrician what they recommend that’s safe for this age. Hope you guys have a nice cruise!!! 🤗
The other there is camp ocean and my friend Reagan came on it and it was a carnival cruise and it wasn’t like the same crazy one and I loved it and we’re going after a concert. My sister is going because she loves Taylor Swift. Her name is Karley and I’m so proud of your daughter. She did a great job.
Here are the radio she was crying, so I’m so proud of her because I haven’t seen a single cry her face cause she’s older and I love your kid. She’s so cute and I’m gonna be on the sunrise cruise like you, but we’re gonna be there like after you so I can’t figure out that’s sadand I’m giving your thumbs up and I’m gonna try to find your videos every day so I can watch
The stroller fit in hallways while the room stewards cleaning cart was out, it also fit through the doorway and easily stored under the bed. Our personal preference is to not use the stroller around the ship, because sometimes waiting for elevators can take a while. So we just prefer to walk and baby wear.
Looking forward to this series! So interesting that you boarded the ship where you did… was that Deck 2?? We cruise in November 2024 to Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao. We’ve done Horizon 3 times, but It’s been 5 years since we were last onboard. Looking to see what’s changed since plus what you did in Aruba & Curaçao- it’s been 9 years since we were last there!😮
How exciting!!! I can’t remember which floor we boarded, but I remember being like where the heck are we, lol?! Like I was expecting to walk into the atrium! Have an awesome cruise!!! ❤️

Your kids are precious and your youngest reminds me of my daughter. She just turned 7 months lol by the time we are on the cruise she will be 11 months so we shall see how it goes hehe
Hey! I’m Amanda also 😊 Cruising for the first time with my kids who will be 5 and almost a year. Not gonna lie, I’m quite overwhelmed at all I need to bring for them because I thought what my bf and I brought for just us was a lot! Shewww lol Also we’re going on the same ship and cruise as this one! First Christmas cruise. Did you like the Horizon?
LOL! It is a lot, but you can make it all fit! And of course decide what exactly you really *need* for them! Horizon is great! The kids will have a blast! Hope you have an amazing Christmas cruise!!!
Thank you very much for the detailed tour of your cabin room. This was very helpful this will be the first time we have booked a balcony cabin. We have have done 2 other cruises and they were window cabins they were nice too.
I’m wanting to take our baby to Cabo but we are concerned about the drinking water since our infant is formula fed. Any suggestions? Did you have this issue? I’m thinking I will use only bottled water
I exclusively breastfed so I didn’t need water for formula, but I’d stick to bottled water for sure for baby! Cabo has Walmart, Costco, etc. so you can definitely stock up on water bottles. The grocery store is an Uber ride away!
I’ll be trying camp ocean this fall with my little one who’s never been to daycare. I teared up watching this video but it was so helpful and realistic. Thank you!

Congratulations!!! How is her pregnancy going so far? Has she cruised before? As it gets closer, she should definitely discuss it with her doctor to get approval/advice and see how she’s feeling in terms of any morning sickness.
@@barrettosontheloose so far everything is going great, a little morning sickness but not terrible, no throwing up and she’s been able to keep eating without issue but I agree, consultation with the doctor will be best
very informational. Some of the stuff seemed like over planning to me, but some things, I did not think about. Overall very helpful. Im going to travel with grandparents to lighten the load. hopefully that will help
The video definitely covers a lot, so cruisers can pick and choose what’s helpful and useful to their families. What’s too much planning for one, might not be for another. Can’t please everyone, but we’re glad you got some value from it. Taking grandparents will definitely be helpful! Hope you have a nice cruise!! 🤗

love the vid! i tell u what - there is nothing like that feeling when ur first sailing out of port and then out on the water - kind of makes u forget all the headaches leading up to that point! we will be on Horizon in Havana for the second time beginning of August - cannot wait!
It’s the best feeling! Lol! One day we will be able to try the Havana rooms, but the minimum age is 12 so we can’t with our little ones, lol! Have a blast!!!
Sailing on Panorama in Jan 2025. Deck 6 balcony as well, but your video has me wanting to switch cabins. The balcony view is awful. I want to be over the water not an awning type structure. Ughh. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm taking my first cruise on the vista in December. They assigned me to the 8th floor. From what I have gathered its not ideal as its near elevators and the theater. Can you please recommend the best floor with light traffic and little to no noise?
We were on the 6th floor towards aft and had no issues with noise. I think as long as you’re not below (or maybe even above) common areas and are away from elevators/foot traffic, there shouldn’t be any issues with noise.
