I have been watching art conservation videos from time to time and love to see conservation work done. I am on the list of those who say things like "do it all." This is totally an important work to conserve. This is so core to our Humanity. Christ taught us, be as me, do as I. John 14:20 On that day you will know for yourselves that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.
I read through the candidate works of art. I would like to add a side note; I hope that someone has the funds and sense to submit a bit of the lock of hair that accompanies the photo album in the prospect that a DNA match is made with descendants of the family depicted in the album.
I am so glad that you put this video together and released it online. I remember the day when Free Admission began. I am so grateful that the Chrysler Museum of Art was a thing by the time I moved to the area almost 25 years ago. I was only there for a year but I did 2 things while there. I walked north on the sand up Virginia Beach at the crack of dawn every day, and back, and I visited CMOA as often as I could. I only wish that I understood art museums better at the time. Seeing this video underscores my personal experience of marvel and amazement at the art I returned to again and again. And oh the glass was a miracle which I can scarcely express. Thank you; a thousand times.
Hurray Norfolk - home of my birth. I loved the Chrysler Museum when I lived there and made friends with Walter Chrysler. What a generous person - not only on sharing his great collection - but He would also take time with a stranger like me - show me around and give a personal tour. very helpful. I m trying to make headlights, taillights, car windows, domestic windows, side mirrors, rearview mirrors etc. I found this quite helpful.
I love this museum like in talk about glass that's good for see it😸🩵this art feel me Enthusiastic to do like this art but this so hard and -i can't travel to this city-
Sometimes I wish humans weren't so pretentious with their love for stuff. Especially stuff that contributes absolutely nothing to society growth as a civilization. They talk about it as if it will fee the hungry or shelter the homeless. Yet here we are and half the works of art are ugly, overpriced and full of narcissistic egos. Lol. Absolutely worth less.
