Hey guys, Just came across your channel. We are thinking of buying the same model cross track that you have. How have you found your time with it? Do you know what your approx ball weight is when fully loaded? That’s also a contributing factor for us haha!
Hey mate love the vid, currently doing something very similar. how did you secure the unistrut to the canopy? More pop rivets or something a bit more heavy duty?
Why do they call me donkey ? Hee orr hee orr hee Orr he always calls me that 😂😂. We,ll be At Goomburra shortly for a charity event, can’t wait 👍👍👁️👁️😎😇🐕🦺❤️🇦🇺
Looks great however, that vibration/anti rattle nut on your tow hitch should be loose when towing. It's for times when not towing as far as I'm aware. Good product review
We are looking at buying one of these because of the light weight TARE. I am happy with outside shower but can the porta potty be put inside under a seat for old ladies
be no trouble doing that of a towball. There is prolly no more force on th towball than towing the van through sand in the first place. You NEVER snatch of a towball though
Nice Review Mate. I cant find anywhere on the specs what the dimension of this awning and wondering if you know from your trails? Trying to compare it to others on how far it is directly square off the bracket ie 90 degrees to the side of car. Also how far the 90 degree point is off the back.... I have a prado and trying to work out if the open barn door will be under cover of the awning fully.
I have had two 12 volt Jockey wheels over the years. I just run them off the House Battery's Through and anderson plug on the A=frame. They dont use very much power or deplete the battery. Just bought one of these GEN 2 units so now I have three movers. I will have to give the others away to friends.
To solve the spring pole issue you can heat them up and bend them in a way that they still work, which is the method i went with on my setup. Otherwise you can use bungy cord from the eyelets on the tent awning and attach them to the campboss awning tiedown points hope that helps. thanks for the video.
You can refill with a hose pipe connected to your gravity feed tap. Open you current refill tube to release the air pressure. Works well on my camper van that I built
Just as an idea for you, if you don't end up putting a pump on your water tank, use your outlet at the back for an inlet and the inlet you have used just as a vent 🤙🏼
Hi Guys Im about to put a diesel heater on my 2023 crossie. I was wondering whether you had any problems with the exhaust pointing towards the ensuite ?
This man stinks this van out with his intestinal gas issues. I don’t understand why this gorgeous women would want to step foot in an enclosed space with this man 💩
Good review for a first impression. I have a 13 on order after many months of research. My main reason is the weight, departure angles, and size. Yes, Jayco builds are rough, especially when they bragged they spit out a new van every 16 minutes. This will be my 3rd Jayco but the after sales from experience has always been positive. Also, being a tradesman, I can handle doing improvements that they won't do on a build sheet. As they are pretty much a flat pack van and you can't change their design until your dealer or yourself takes ownership.
Would love to see more videos. Also more of how you set up camp and well just more of how you enjoy your camping experience overall. Keep the videos coming.
Just found your channel. I've never seen this type of Jayco here in the US. My hubby and I just bought a NoBo 10.6 it is a toy hauler overlander. I have to admit if this Jayco had been a choice at the time I'm not sure which one we woudve gone home with.
Absolutely horrible that people do this, I cannot keep my mouth shut, but I understand, you guys do not need the confrontation to spoil your tiume, and you get to practice recovery skills, whoooo hoooo how good was that?
It's all still in one piece and all is working fine! And yes! Moved up here last year - dry season now so more adventures to come! Thanks for watching mate.
