I can tell this is going to close after 2024 to the poor act of a fluent storyline. Getting ready for a party is one thing , but not adding some twists into the mix is very sad. They should have tiana preparing for a party but having DR.Facilier trying to stop her in the action of it all. They literally tossed out a good ride that kept disney's reputation along with the fact a new theme park is coming to florida. I hope disney doesn't sink to the bottom of the pits because of this though. Did you guys here they are trying to close its a small world and turning it into a walk through ride ? can you do a video about it so it can just be clarified ?

So, this is actually scrapping the story of Princess and the Frog and instead using the characters in the teachings of Anti-Capitalism. That really is a theme park first. The story is after the princess and the frog movie and Dr facillier is dead so it makes sense that he’s not in it even though I love him and think it would be amazing
While I do agree that it’s a downgrade from the original concept art, Splash Mountain was based on a movie with racist undertones. While it was a fun ride, I’m excited for this new ride.
De Vliegende Hollander is a mix of Manufacturers: Trains by a company in Breda, Software and PLC by Efteling, Lifthill by Intamin, Track by CSM and layout by Kumbak. Fata morgana makes sense if you get the story: You will travel through a jungle where the wizard takes you into the Forbidden city of 1001 nights, but in the end the wizard was just a Fata Morgana and the dream just fades away until you're back in the jungle, and visiting the forbidden city was just a dream...
Splash Mountain was destroyed because of constant cries of “slavery” by activistsabout a fictional animated film. But Tiana’s ride is based on a real world slave plantation called Avery Island, a famous salt dome in Louisiana where blacks were forced to work the salt mines; Imagineers visited there for inspiration.
If Super Nintendo World ever gets expanded to have the rumored Luigi’s haunted mansion mini landI, I would LOVE if they had a tower of terror type ride or a ride like revenge of the mummy. Hopefully something more thrilling than everything else in the land, but still fun for kids. (Also I wouldn’t want a shooter ride. Cause isn’t bowsers challenge already like that?)
Hope you can make it a two-day visit next time. I recommend staying at Bosrijk or Loonsche land. This park deserves at least two days. You did the high lights, but missed out on so much more
I've always enjoyed Disney rides because I'm familiar with the movie or at least the storyline with most attractions. Lately, I have no clue what is going on with some of the rides. I've never watched the Princess and Frog movie and have zero plans to ever see it. I've not watched Tron either. Thank goodness we have Universal Studios! Islands and Universal have far surpassed Disney in just about every facet of the theme park game and I don't see Disney catching up anytime soon!
Hopefully u will return once Danse Macabre opens. The ride is most likely going to be the most themes attraction in the park. Due to the Efteling having a way bigger budgets for theming since 1-3 years.
I’m so excited for the new ride I think it would be teh same I don’t care abt the animatrroicns but since there new maybe I like it more but I just love water rides !! If it get no one on it I’ll be the only one I’m so excited!!
This summer Piranha will be reopened... (the oldest operating Rapid River in the world) and at the end of the year Dance Macabre will be opened....I hope you will experience Efteling in the dark....It's really a diffrent vibe. Thanx for the vlog ;)
Sadly that you haven’t experienced Joris en de draak, because this is an airtime filled GCI. At this moment I rank it even above coasters like OzIris, abyssus or lost gravity
I remember back in the early 80's going to the park and it rained this day, like it always does in Florida, around lunch time so my brother and I went and ate. After we got done the rain had stopped and the sun came out but the park was nearly empty. We got on the python and we did not get off until about 23 times through. That is when people started showing back up. Some great memories from that day.
The new ride has 42 animatronic robots, not 17! And the new animatronics are EPICALLY HARDER TO BUILD! In Splash Mountain, 90 of those 100+ robots just swayed or strummed a instrument or some super simple mechanical movement. Look at how incredibly these new robots move! My presumption is that they had been planning this already BUT were not planning to go public yet and the BLM movement forced their hand to announce it NOW or look like they were doing it because BLM forced them to. A lot of the guts of Splash Mountain were falling apart from neglect, so they knew they had to do something,! Reskinning the ride with a new theme meant a ton more free advertising of something NEW rather than spend the same money to recover 100+ moldy old robots and seeing no meaningful uptick in park attendance because there's nothing new to promote! This was a super smart financial move on their part because they've got everyone like you talking about them for free and planning to go to hate-ride on it. Kids will still love it because it will be beautiful and refreshing, so the haters won't even hurt them...it's marketing genius. Honestly as someone who has watched and loathes Song of the South, I'm happy to see any trace of it scrubbed out of the park, but I admit I'm worried that if the new ride isn't a perfect 10 out of 10, the backlash will be horrible. Fingers crossed there's some tricks up their sleeve!
I think you’re overthinking the story. I think people love it for the colour, music and overall theming and relaxing ride. I personally believe Tiana B adventure will uphold these with cool new animatronics. I agree story may not be as good but I think people will enjoy seeing the new animatronics and new theming and music and will be less focussed on the story
I can't be the first person to think that trying to recreate the Harry Potter Frog Choir tunes with the frogs in Dreamworks Land would be a worthy challenge
Nice video honoring Python. This was the first looping coaster I ever rode back in 1988 at 14. We rode Scorpion next. It was short and rough but the drop was good. I always wondered if anyone banged their head or hands on the station roof right after the drop. It also had a unique anti-rollback sound which seems to be unique to Arrows.
It’s ridiculous to call this ride Racist. Song of the south film was Racist, sure. But the animated portions of the film have absolutely nothing to do with the other parts of the film. This ride wasn’t even based on the racism in the film. Disney has broken hundreds of hearts getting rid of this ride. I’m sure Tiana will be fun but it won’t be the same. You can’t replace the iconic ride of splash mountain with a movie about a black princess, how is that less Racist.
Will be a HUGE mistake not to have Dr. Facillier... They could have done some truly awesome things with black lighting with having his costume change with the music and everything.

Splash mountain was made off of a movie that is racist, which is another reason why Disney chose to rebuild the ride into something like Tiana's Bayou. Lots of kids would know who Tiana is more than what the splash mountain ride is based off of.
I guess you never watched the film. Far from being racist, it was very pro-black. An impoverished black sharecropper was the hero of the film. It also paid tribute to african foke lore.

Its storyline and animatronics are all based on the 1946 Disney movie Song of the South, a film heavily criticized for its romanticized view of the Reconstruction-era South.
Holiday Park is near Heidelberg, so you could always go up to the castle (i've been to castle when I did American Music Abroad in 2016, and it has an apothecary exhibit as well as functions to be an entertainment venue) among other minor cities in a tri-state area equivalent because other parks nearby are easily full day parks, so you can easily mix some history or as the first or last stop on a trip
I think it's a weird decission for them to build a Extreme Spinner, out of their 3 coasters they currently have, 2 are thrill coasters and 1 is a kiddie coaster. Now don't get me wrong I love another Extreme spinner coming to Europe, even after the director of the park said it would be even more spectacular than Ride To Happiness but to me it seems like a good quality family coaster would be a way better fit at this park
@@nietdavy It was recently revealed in an interview with the local media. We don’t have informations about the layout, but it will be themed to an IP called „100% Wolf“. The first markers can already be seen at the park.
