Yea my dad said the price increased from £40 up to £160 pounds for the EXACT SAME NETWORK. The new " MINIMUM" price is now £82 which is rediculous seeing as virgin media isnt even the fastest network compared to new fibre optic broadbands which are much cheaper. For context. The price TRIPLED for the same services.
It’s a scam but it’s legal 🤫 because dictatorship works… first they robbed us on our gas bills and energy… now they’ve put blocks in so you can’t ring up and ask for a discount or ask the company to stay on the same price plan for phone contracts, broadband and council tax which has all gone through the roof I doubt it’s going to stop there
You have already agreed to terms and conditions and leaving the services just because of price increase is a hilarious way to treat anyone. Y'all beggars
Your either stupid or you like being rinsed… Ask your friends how much they are paying with the same company and it’ll probably be half the price ask your aunty how much she’s paying and it’ll probably be higher then you why is it they can play silly beggars and we can’t… if you’ve got all the money of the world stick to it! Previously you could get them to decrease the price but this year you can’t and you can’t in the future either so let them carry on rinsing you :)
@@CAR_SOLUTIONS a company needs certain amount of profits to continue providing their services, if you will look at the new customers deal that doesn't provides any profit to the company as it is in the market for attracting new customers. What do you think that BT is providing you a better price, if yes then why do peoples get into a contract if they can't make the payment accordingly. The deals are subjected to change everytime and if you will not grab a good one before its ending period then it is totally your loss..
Yeah Virgin are scamming everyone with there latest trick! If your with Virgin or have been then you’ll know why everyone’s so pissed! Beggars 😂what a wanker!
@@CAR_SOLUTIONS we just checked our astra and there is now noise inside the car fuel tank. Have you check the drainage on the door to make sure there no water trapped in them.
@@keithnewton8981 2:31 I mentioned that issue too very common on these astras bare in mind this video is 4 years old now and I’ve had a few astras for over 5 years
Thankyou and very good video. Very very similar to another one I saw who goes into a tad more detail and he primed with ignition at least 6 times and it worked fine. He also mentioned lubricating the rubber ring too. It's a 36mm socket and it's 25nm tight when you tighten it back with a torque wrench.
Great video and thanks for making it. I am struggling to unscrew it though. The last person at a "professional" garage put it on way too tight and now it is impossible to unscrew it. I am thinking os using a filter wrench for the top part and the 36mm socket and wrench for the bottom half. Any other thoughts? It is plastic and I am afraid of it cracking. I dont want to take the fuel pump off!
Same - a garage gave the car back after a service with this leaking. I only noticed after a month or so, with the stain on the road. They denied all responsibility, bstards 😡, even though it's clear to see that the seal had been pinched. I was afraid of cracking the housing, so I went to buy another housing just in case, otherwise the car would've been off the road. BAD NEWS - after 4 months on back-order, Vauxhall cancelled the order, said they couldn't get it. Had to get a second-hand one, which looks OK. Waiting to see how this works out.
Great video thanks. Struggling with getting the filter housing to unscrew. Using a 36mm socket and wrench. It is impossible to unscrew it. The last person, in a "professional" garage, put it on way too tight and now it won't come off. I see another poster struggled with it and had to take the fuel pump out to get it off. I don't want to do this. Has anyone else any idea on getting it to unscrew? Was thinking of using a filter wrench for the top part of it and the 36mm socket on the bottom half, but as you say it is plastic and may end up cracking. It should be a straightforward job but it never is is it!
Use a longer bar for leverage and instead of yanking on it give it a bit of a whack type of movement to loosen it up might help 🙌😒 it’s a pain when others have been under the car and tighten it up like no tomorrow…
@@CAR_SOLUTIONS Thanks for the quick reply. I did try my breaker bar but still couldn't unscrew it. Didn't try hitting it so will try that thanks. Shouldn't be this difficult!
Great video, well explained and will save some pennies. Garage will charge £35 with the filter where I am. Can probably get a filter for less than half that price and do it yourself ❤
Indeed, pennies make pounds specially in 2023 where every inch of a penny is being squeezed if your hands and tools can do something that’ll cost you, you rather do it yourself for free. Labour charges in this day and age costs a fortune as every one has someone to feed when they go back home…
After installing a new multimedia system in my car (opel astra j), i cannot change the language from Chinese to English on the mileage display. The new multimedia system is running in english language on android 10. what can i do about it? Thank you very much
The sloshing sound is water trapped in the sill panels. Look under the sill panels you will see rubber bungs. remove them and you will see all the water run out
Was and absolute pig to get off ended up taking the whole pump off then undoing it . Make shore you leave diesel inthe bottom of the plastic cover the filter gos in
@@paggsyparrott9236 Most likely they are only plastic and should never be over tightened there is a risk of it even getting cracked... Hopefully the car will feel much more better now with that done and out the way hope the video helped :)
How long does the fuel keep coming out before it stops and ypu can unscrew it fully to replace? I started doing mine today and had about a liter of fuel before I tightened it up again as it just wouldn't stop? 🧐
So to follow up on my own comment from 6-months ago. About 2 liters came out of my 1.7tdci J model. It would not start with the key turn method so I had to buy a hand primer to fit in line at the engine end before I was finally able to start it. Please do make sure that all the seals are fitted correctly or it will gurgle and whine as air gets drawn in and will cause surging at idle and bucking/lurching when driving. I found this out the hard way. If you're not confident do the easy parts of the service and take it to a garage. They will do this job for about £40-50.
