With all respect due to Terry Bozzio a monster legend in his own right and Dale Grover, no one can replace Dave Lombardo's vibe... To me the logical match to King Buzzo, Trevor Dunn & the Mighty Mike Patton!
have anyone in the UNIVERSE found the full performance somewhere? I have found none, no downloads, no streams, not even a DVD to purchase... what happened to the world, that only 45,178 of us search for these insanely good artists?
I saw this on TV back then. The day after I was overjoyed to find that my crappy music store had suspended animation (!). One of the best purchases I ever made.
@SkinnyB57 Yeah, I don't think they mean that in a good way either. In my experience, when you see a drummer with a set that's bigger than your living room with remote kick drums, you're going to sit through something that more than likely sucks.
love it how at every fantomas concert, no one mosh's like idiot's, everyone just stands and take's it in. not that their time signatures lend well to dancing, but it's refreshing to see people attentive and not acting like idiots.
@penguinworm Probably,Fantomas is just too weird, all those rhythmic changes, noises, and overall atmosphere are out of control.I prefer Bungle, its the most musically professional,no-boundaries proyect Patton ever made (or been part of),its like switching channels in a tv,you never know what you gonna get (forrest gump?jeje)Mr Bungle is the best band ever!!!
fantomas is indescribable. trying to describe them is like nailing custard to a wall. people that get hung up on labels and trivial stuff like that need to shut up and listen instead of fitting everything into a neat understandable package.
The three (3) songs that compose this click are: * 4-1-05 * 4-2-05 * 4-3-05 As you can see, all of them are the names of the first three days of april 2005. The album is Suspended Animation. And by the way, this music doesn't fit in any genre, although some would call it "avant-garde metal". I hope it helps.
mike patton...I dotn even know what to say. you have rhythm and flow, my man. The vocals on this = ftw. and btw, TheMetalAlliance, Mike Patton doesnt do any drugs.
