BIG NEWS! Hi, I am a L-term 2-XL fan. I think he is about to become much more valuable. This site just went up. Freemanbook.org scroll down to the photos of the 2-XLs. Spread the word. Everybody will know soon anyway. Cheers
Wow! I had the nineteen nineties version of 2XL as a child and recently acquired another one from EBay with four tapes. You’re very lucky yours still works as good as it does. You could probably put a little contact cleaner into that volume dial and clear up the static. I’m jealous of the audio quality though. The MEGO version’s speaker seems to be... larger than the nineties version and puts out just a little more bass. I wonder if any of the original MEGO titles reappeared for the nineties version?
My favorite toy from back in the day. Never knew about the ninties reboot until recently. Bet you didn't get to listen to Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles eight tracks on yours...
I think its a 1967 pressing cause its still black label but it can be early 1968 pressing as we know that Gold Records vol.4 and Speedway ard both from 1968 anx got the black label 🤗
Hello friend , sorry to bother you , but I have one just like I lost the charger. Please tell me which of voltage and current has eliminator your 2XL . Thank you and congratulations for having one so careful . Cheers !!!!!
2xlrobot.com/moreinfo/index.html What kind of power cord does the Mego 2-XL use? The Mego version of 2-XL used a 9-volt AC adapter with a 3.5 mm ("eighth inch") mini-plug tip. It's the one that looks like the same size and shape as the tip on a set of headphones from a walkman.

can you see under the red sticker? is this a "drunken stereo" pressing? i have one in new condition with the red sticker, a "LOW discount price $3.98" sticker under it, with the drunken stereo cover, no cut out marks, same record label, and a flat unwrinkled sleeve. [wurlitzer 1450]
