It's a definite YES from me. If you don't get it done, your son has to go through 18 years plus with a foreskin. Unhygienic, health risk, likely to knock his confidence with girls. Do the right thing.
Cutting a baby boys penis is just barbaric, awful, and cruel. I was a nanny for a newborn baby boy and here both parents were Doctors. The mother was a pediatrician and they decided to circumcise the baby when he was one month old. It was part of their religion and the father said that a male can’t be part of the religion if they are not circumcised. I would think that it should be a personal choice when the child becomes an adult. Shouldn’t he have the right to decide if he wants to be in that religion and wants a circumcision? No he was taken to the Synagogue and the assigned person cut him while the father held him and squeezed wine into his mouth while he screamed. I never heard a baby cry like that. It was this sound of pain, and fear. I wish that I hadn’t been there but they also had a 3 year old boy who I also took care of. Afterwards the baby boy had so many issues with pain and swelling because the person who cut him made some mistakes and only further caused this poor child agony. After a few months of suffering he finally got better but he was fine to begin with.

@@carolcalhoun9969 it won’t be illegal soon. Just because you want that doesn’t mean it’s true. I’m sure the father had it done as well as his father had it done. My son had it done when he was born and didn’t cry at all. It’s just a matter of a decision from the parents. When the child is 18, he would wonder why it wasn’t done yet? And if he chooses to that age or older, it will be extremely extremely painful.
