When I bought My 2022 Z 900 RS the Dealership had put that same Slip-On the Bike I bought. And all the videos and all the people were saying that the Stock Can sounds BETTER than the Slip-On. When I got home with My New Bike, I took the Slip-On OFF. And They were RIGHT ! Since then I’ve installed a Full AKRAPOVIC HEADER with the Factory Muffler, K & N Air Filter, Air Box Mod, and I sent My ECU to Ivan’s Performance. As someone stated it was Good to begin with, but Now it’s GREAT RUNNING and SOUNDING !
Ihave SC projects on my 22 hyper SP and they are totally awesome but they are very loud, and I have the California version don't know how they got these past the inspectors for products that are sold in California. The difference between a California version and aversion you could buy in other states is these are tamper-proof and you cannot remove the decibel killers. Now I have the cat removed that their ads a lot of noise I'm running 106 decibels at an idle. Needless to say when I'm riding through my quiet little town I'm not getting on it.😂
First u take off the bread box ! Then : K&N air & oil filters + Iridium spark plugs Flash the ECU Alrapović muffler & block the SAI system … Max power on Dyno = 106 at rpm 8.8 Max torque = 94.1 at 6.7 rpm
Good idea to compare both, thanks! I think to like better the original by both look and sound. Probably with the full headers it would be different. One question, where did you get the engine protectors, they look very nice and they are located in a good location.
you drive a really nice hot tire cool ... but what's not so cool rules don't count for you, and i think that's a shame but i think you're still young ... and still have a lot of air in your brain.
