821 or 823 rec port LS head you flip the bottom aluminum spacer over to clear the hump between the two holes, that’s why it’s machined like that. Thanks for this video, needed a quick refresher!
Do you still own the c5? It sounds like a head cam car. I have a C5Z entirely built with suspension transmission motor diff brakes mini tub 6. cage coilovers T1, blah blah blah. That being said, I want to buy the same side skirts. Perhaps the front splitter, but I would have to see that one in person. But the side skirts look perfect, and the C5R hood you have
It definitely needs to be a built motor looking like that if you put my 427 in that C5 that C5 would be doing a burnout like my car would do I would drop the third gear and would have left a nasty black marks
@justencaron9209 I've race plenty of ls1 cars and yes, 2nd and 3rd I'm right neck and neck with a c5 stock. Top end of 3rd is when it starts pulling away. And yes the 350hr stock vs a c5 stock on a track. The z is a bit faster on a track like road atlanta.
Morimoto Sealed 7 headlights are crap, I’ve had them for 2 years and I’m on my third replacement; half of the LEDs in the daylight running system keep going out making them look really cheap. A manager is supposedly reaching out to me, but it’s been a few weeks and still no email. They require you to purchase another headlight, send in the defective one, and then wait for a refund like people have time to tear their jeeps apart for fun and part with a few hundred dollars for no reason!!
I don’t know why GM is so stingy with heated steering wheels. All the mopar stuff I’ve owned in the last 10 years had heated steering wheels. My wife’s $65k 17 suburban doesn’t have it. But her 17 $35k Durango did.
hello, you know why the gear won't shift when the engine's running with the clutch being stuck? when i pull it back up with my foot the clutch doesn't have that strong springy feeling. i'm knocking on wood it's not serious! 🤞🤞

I just got these headlights but I’m a bit confused about what wires you splice the daytime running lights and turn signal wires into. Do you just splice them into the same color wires on the fender lights?
The best thing to get is backer rip, foam round sold at Lowe’s, etc. it is easy to get in and looks good. Can be done without taking the top off. However, if you can take the top off, check the screws ontop that hold the sound bar in place. They can rattle loose over time.
I've wondered since the 1st time I saw one of these, what that eyelet is for lol. I wish I had bought one of those compressors just to be quick. I broke Orielys on 1st 660 spring lol. So I made a great one for the bench out of a 12" clamp and welded the 13/16" spark plug socket you never use onto it. cut a window in the socket and it will clamp 400# spring with just finger pressure.
Interesting solution. The yj / tj doors are identical, it's the handles/latches that are different, and they have different latch pin styles and latch at different heights. Replacing the handles/latches with ones made for the specific model will also resolve the issue.
I was going to make an identical video. I am equally unimpressed. That $405 should could have gone to front adjustable lower control arms instead, which had the biggest impact on steering. These Falcons steering stabilizers are definitely not worth the money.
Your problem is Morimoto. I purchased the same features without all the extra wires and problems via Amazon. However, I have the LED factory headlights, yours look to be halogen. You're probably going to need inline resistors installed.
I worked with Morimoto for months. in their early development of these units. i have 4 different pairs of these. Their goal was to make these work with JL's that came with halogen headlights. We tried various resistors, timers, etc. In the end the fix is using a tazer or similar to enable LED headlights. This jeep's been gone for a while. Moved on to a 4xe.
Any links? I just installed Morimoto XB LED Headlights and was crushed to see hyper flash when running lights are turned on. Is there a fix anyone knows out there?
