I had no hiss or whine in my system until I installed the dayton dsp. Bothers me too trying to fix it....rca surpressors didn't eliminate it but they helped
I'm guessing you're powering it with the wire harness that has the plastic plugged harness. Use the ac adapter power I just cut the brick off it and wired it into a switch and straight to the battery. Seems to eliminate all the hiss. Also what input are you using? The rca ins or the Bluetooth?
I powered it both ways no difference and I use rca but also have tried straight bluetooth and same results. I'm going to do some better grounding to amplifiers and dsp. Also might try better ground on headunit like you. Thanks 👍🏼
Yeah it is! Vipers have been my pick since 93 when I was a kid and Carroll Shelby drove that thing around Indianapolis speedway after they ditched that 4 banger sh!tbox stealth for the viper. Instantly hooked!
The Ghoul 🐲and The Hellephant 🦾🐘🦾emblem are a Master Piece ! I was gana order the Ghoul emblem & Hellephant black&red since I have a 470 hp Ram but it’s gana attracted to much attention
Just did the system in my trailblazer, new HU and crux chime/reverse/SWC harness. INstalled new amp in the factory bose location using the factory wiring except for power/ground. NO NOISE! Just put in a brazillian expert DSP, not only do I get whine, but I get channels cutting out, ONLY WHEN ENGINE IS RUNNING. straight to amp and the noise goes away. I may go the route of just getting RCA suppressors and spare the tearing of the dash apart yet again.
@@TrapMyRide I did splice a ground from amp/dsp to the HU wire harness with no positive result. I can give the HU chassis a try, what ga should the wire be as I used a remote type size wire?
There's more things to that dsp that you are not using. The dsp controls everything that the head unit does plus more. Delete your head unit. The dsp has the ability to turn off any single output with affecting the others.
Yeah I ended up getting an android tablet that i bluetooth directly to the dsp. Even with the head unit I connected my phone and tuned the dsp with my phone. If you don't tune it it kind of defeats the purpose of using a nice dsp.
Hi my car's original audio system has 10 speakers, each with it's own output channel on the amplifier with different frequencies. Can I connect 2 low power speaker outputs (like the front left mid and front left tweeter) to one channel on the units high level input? Thank you in advance.
The horse at the end is Arabian..not a mustang.. people wouldn't b standing and holding it if it was a mustang..they would all b in a world of hurt...sorry I had to b that guy
