Oh Sherin. You must never ever have shown this to me. How can I go back after have seeing this. Gold, columns, statues inlays silk chandeliers and ceilings 2di4. THNX
The beauty, taste, artistry, craftsmanship of those wall panels. I'm going to need a towel in a minute. I remind everyone that those wall panels were meant to be seen in flickering candlelight. Wealthy aristocrats were up at night mostly; when it's dark. It was a nighttime lifestyle. They needed candlelight or lamps to see in the dark. Any illumination by fire will flicker and the flickering of those lights reflecting off decorative wall panels make them undulate. Brings them to life. Now picture a wall panel with no design on it in a flickering light. Inert. See? I prefer plainer wall panels now because we have steady electric light.
Alleh freaking luja! Someone actually gets it! I look for baroque and its some french provincial or queen anne furniture and plain walls, or plain walls period! With a few exceptions here and there, this is more like it! I was starting to wonder if the communists took over and banned this or sonething. Its like when i say baroque, nobody gets it-and thier in interior stuff which is the worst part.
Try decorator supply. They've got a PDF catalog that's got gobs of these types of panels, mouldings and ornaments. It's not cheap but it's every bit as comparable to this stuff in this video.
