This song saved my life when it came out. I had just turned 15 and this song instantly had a huge effect on my life…. Needless to say I have live love burn die tatted on my arm. Beautiful song.
angelicdevil44 that’s the best damn solo. I repeat that part over n over till the piano. Such good music. Which no adays u gotta have face tats n Xanax n mumble n I’ll make it not talent
Chris Stone no, it's exhumed. He's been dug up "a little less human and a lot more bitter and cold." He's using figurative language and it could be taken literally too. listen to the context of the song and lookup the definition of exhumed. It makes much more sense than human and even has better rhythm.
I first heard this song on a burned ATRAC cd a friend gave me in school. I would listen to that cd on the bus going to and from school. This was similarly the song that got me accustomed to vocals involving screaming, because the song was so damned good.
The only band I can think of that did/does what you're talking about while having remotely any connection to Atreyu is From Autumn To Ashes. They toured together in '04. Autumn's Monologue and The Fiction We Live would be what you're thinking of, where two people sing about each other.
Damn wasn't there like this love note or something after this song where a chick sings? And there's another track that's like pt2 and it was the male response then pt3 they did an epic duo and it was a hidden track like 45mins after silence of the album ending?! WTF was that song?! Was it this band or the one with the drummer for a lead singer???
alot of the clean vocals are brandon saller, alex doesnt like clean vox as much as screaming, but thats just the sound they were progressing into (more singing) Have yu heard alex's new band?? pure hardcore and all screaming
