When you purchased a sprinter new or used you can get the pod on the roof that gains u about 2 foot in hight. There about 2.6k to have put on. Looking at them for my build
Saw this video and 2 weeks later my engine started knocking on a trail ride. I got off the bike, started spitting on it furiously, and it worked! Sold the bike a few days later as “almost new” thanks man!!
I filled my handlebars with silicon to compensate for the loss of bar-end weights, and it melts in the summer and gets under the left grip making it very difficult to stabilize. Regret putting it in there. Not sure if the vibration is less or if I just got used to it, either.
Nice explanation for the main jet. You mentioned about the idle jet size, but what about needle and main jet? I can see only NOZ, but what is the last letter? Is it a G letter or J?
I don’t have a Beta but on the Yamaha YZ 250 always check the ignition timing for some reason they come with timing advanced enough to make them ping on anything less than racing fuel.
Easily one of the best/easy to follow walkthroughs ive seen on YT 👌 Straight to the point so you explained very well in around ten minutes what others have taken 30/45 mins to do and you even included what to listen for. Excellent video/tutorial 👍
I am very curious about the adjustment of the suspension now that you are riding on a dirt track. I assume that this is not the adjustment in terms of clickers, just like during an enduro?
It must stipulated that the engine is in good mechanical condition, most people i know have owned bike for 3 yrs with no servicing to engine and it starts to smoke heavily or breathe heavily automaticly blame it on carberuttion....very good video, thanks.
Very clear and easy to understand. Great explanation of how it works and effects the bike. I appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into making the video.
Novice needing advice please I’ve just fitter an turbine core 2 and gnarly pipe to my exc 200. Well the bike is now not idleing unless the choke is out, and when twisting the throttle the bike bogs down for a second or two before revving up. I have checked out what jets I’m running and I’m on a 38 idle and a 170 main. UK weather may I add So the question is what step should I go for first ?
Hoe have special fibre for around you exhaust that keeps the heat inside the exhaust and away from your tubes and also doesnt warm the kooling water inside the tubes
I have a 2006 ktm 125 sx , yesterday was my first time riding it , and it was either too lean or too rich , no matter how much I played with the air screw . So today I took out the needle , there are 5 spots and it was in position 4 , so I reset it and put it in the middle , closed the air screw completely , still bogged or cut out , started opening the air screw then it became very lean , it had a crazy hanging idle . At this point I might just move the needle to position 5 and see if that fixes it. Does anyone here have any tips ?
1 Look farther down the trail - road 2 Stand on the balls of your feet 3 Back straight - Grip bike with your knees 4 Sit farther forward on the seat-Center of gravity 5 Chest out - Elbows up Thanks!
I'm loving my 2018 Beta 300 even thou I haven't gotten to ride it but once since I got it thanks to my dog taking me out and messing up my knee. Lol I'm going to a Beta demo day today to see what's up with the new '23 models.
