Phenomenal appearance but why is outdoor pool so small? Cleopatra hotel in las Americas can't be beaten for location and quality in my opinion. Good video
Thanks for your comments, there are a couple of other pools (smaller) near the Bar area, and yes the Cleopatra Palace is a great hotel, it will be undergoing a full refurbishment commencing later this year.
Is there a list of things included with royal level ? Would we still have to pay for certain things ie food and meals if upgraded to royal ? Many thanks
The Royal level gives you access to superior rooms, exclusive areas around its own pool area with bar and waiter service, but it still depends what board basis you are paying for, as you can go B&B, Half Board, or All inclusive in the Royal level, so some of the speciality a la carte restaurants will cost additional monies, with a discount based on your board basis. We would suggest that if you are a couple then the Royal level is a Good choice and if you have children the ordinary level, where all inclusive is still available, may offer you better value. We would recommend contacting the hotel directly and they should be able to highlight the difference between the two levels. Hope that helps and thank you for your comments.
We stayed here January 23 and loved it just as much as you did. Supassed our expectations travelling as a younger couple and we will definitely be returning at some point
We started staying here after the closure of the Shereton la Caleta for refurbishment, glad we did It"s a lovey hotel, not one compliant about about our stay here.
Great video! Very well detailed and you got some impressive looking shots of the hotel and its surroundings. Brilliant. Me (24) and my girlfriend (23) are staying here in July of this year for 10 days. Just wondering how you think it would suit us? We aren’t heavy party people but just wondering how well suited it would be to a couple in their early 20s?
Cameron, Thanks for your comments, we think you'll love it, providing you enjoy rest, relaxation and excellent food and service. The entertainment is very professional but again fairly laid back. There were plenty of young couples there when we visited, enjoying a romantic getaway. Please let us know what you thought on your return.
What a great video.Nice to watch a review with good camera work and excellent description of the property. We stayed here in 2022 and are looking at going back.100% agree with you on every level.❤
@@ellenorthomson7464 Hi Ellen, there is a QR code on reception when you check in to download the App, You can also download it from the Princess Hotels website. Not 100% sure whether you can use the Guayarmina Pool if you are staying at the Inspire, best to email the Hotel to check. Thanks for your comments
Booked to stay here July 2024 with Jet2. Received an email a couple of weeks ago to say the adjacent hotel Cleopatras would be undergoing refurbishment in July and we would be subjected to noise. We have now moved to the Spring Hotel Vulcano to avoid this.
Mike, Many thanks for the heads up, that means they must think it will be ready in July. We are back in Tenerife in a couple of weeks so we will see how much progress they have made. Our next video review, funnily enough is of the Hotel Vulcano (spoiler alert - you should have a great time). We would definitely recommend a room with a pool / sea view or you could end up on the side overlooking the walkway, so, it is well worth paying the extra. We hope you have a great time the video should be live within the next 10/14 days.
Alan, The Platinum Suite rooms are much larger than the standard fare, most have a partial open plan bathroom with a stand alone bath and a much larger seating area with usually corner sofas, not all the Platinum Suites have a sea view, so if you have booked a sea view suite, you should have one of the best rooms in the hotel. Hope you enjoy it, please feel free to let us know in the comments, when you have completed your stay.
A very difficult question to answer John, the Vincci Plantacion del Sur is a great hotel and we are sure you will be delighted if that is your choice, but the choice is varied, our next but one video review is of the Iberostar Mirador which is the No 1 on trip advisor and a great hotel but slightly more expensive, The Jardines de Nivaria another 5 star hotel we loved, video on the channel, and the Bahia del Duque is difficult to beat for luxury, great service, location and food, that video is also on the channel. We hope that helps. There are also some superb hotels in other areas of the island. Check out our website for those. www.letsgototenerife.co.uk
Nice video! I stayed here in October. Perfect location, staff lovely. The grandeur of the hotel is amazing. Only downside for us was like you mentioned - rooms dated and need modernising. It’s a decent 4 star hotel - we got a great deal £1500 for a week including flights b&b. 2 adults and a 4 year old.
Thanks for the comments. Yes we believe the value at this hotel is excellent, especially as all the hotel prices on the south of the island are increasing rapidly.
We stayed here in March this year... Lovely place, great food, friendly staff... As you say dated rooms, need bringing inline with the present day requirements. Nice vlog. Enjoyed it.
This is a very nice video! We've been there now also 5 times and we like the hotel very much. And indeed, when you read reviews they say that the rooms must be renovated. Of course they are not new anymore but we also like the very nice great rooms which fitts as"and old paar of shoes". It's like coming home. Love the nice little sitting room what gives the room the feeling that she's very spacious. Always immediatly warm water, separate toilet, double wardrobe, free safe. You really have all the luxury you want. Everything clean. In the restaurant you always find a place where you like to sit and there is choice enough by breakfast and diner. Outside at the swimming pools you also find always a place where it's nice to be. Nice to hear there are also people which like this hotel so much as we do. We were there the last week of november and hope to do that next year again.👋👋 And enjoy your next stay😊.
Thanks very much for the comments. Yes a hotel we like very much and delighted you think the same way, we have never been disappointed at this hotel, it has a lovely feeling about it and excellent staff, many of them long time employees.
Yes, we have stayed there a couple of times a few years ago, great size rooms, you just need an extra bit of energy to get up the last part of the hill! What were your thoughts of that hotel?
Small but perfectly formed 😁 Glad you enjoyed the video, The room seemed spacey enough for the stay, we would have liked a bigger balcony, but the hotel was great. Please subscribe for more reviews in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your comments, glad you enjoyed it. please subscribe for more videos, the next one, which should be live later this week, is the Jardines de Nivaria
Its my 8th year going to this hoteland i we are all going again next year. also. I have to correct you because you can dress how you feel for the evening meal. There is absolutely NO dress codeat all. Shorts are aloud. Your not on a cruise ship. We only just come back in June.
Thank you for your comments. Our next two reviews are of the Jardines de Nivaria and the Gran Costa Adeje. We plan to review the Iberostar Mirador later this year, Stay tuned!
Thank you for recommending, I make reservation for June next year, I just like ask if you could let me know, this is not all inclusive 😉, how I make reservation its only count breakfast, that mean lunch and dinner have to be paid, it's expensive ? I will be there first time , and I'm from USA 🇺🇸. I will be so thankful 🙏 💗 if you short let me know.Thank you
Thanks for the question, if you have already booked, you will be able to upgrade when you get to the hotel. If you are still able to book, shop around, there are always deals available somewhere on the internet. Bed & breakfast, half board, full board and all inclusive are available, as are a choice of rooms, I hope you enjoy your stay.
Mell Tell, there is no special path, its a nice walk down but would take about 15/20 mins and unless you are feeling really fit, we would recommend a taxi back. Hope that helps.
Hi. We have this hotel booked. Normally stay in gran canaria in the lopesan meloneras so would love a similar feel! When leaving the hotel to walk to the seafront do you need to walk out through the front reception or is thier a side gate that can be used as a short cut?
Just returned after a fabulous 7 day trip. Everything about the hotel we were happy with especially the system for reserving sun beds. You book via an app in advance and you have the use of that bed all day, the system stops the silly o clock brigade. We have rebooked for September next year.
Thanks for the comment, when we were there there was a widespread range of ages, plenty to do, good acts and a great location - would think you'd love it. enjoy
It was pretty full when we visited and would imagine that demand will be high when we are allowed to travel again, however, it never felt busy/full, there are plenty of areas to chill and plenty of available sunbeds. A really nice hotel with a great relaxed atmosphere. Hope you get to try it soon. Thanks for your comments.
