It's nice getting a female vampire's POV, I know we had Claudia for a bit, and Queen of the Damned also, but I also always wondered about Lestat's mom and wish she would have written Gabrielle's chronicle. With the new IWTV series coming upon Season 2 which changes timelines and other things from the books, I have picked up on reading TVC that I haven't read after reading the first half of the series several years ago. Loved Marius's story in Blood and Gold, now reading Pandora's story and Blackwood Farm books

I'm sorry but how are books about vampires and some Satan worshiping vampires works you can dedicate to Christ?! Especially, in the view of some, that you made all the male vampires become gay or bi-sexual suddenly when they were not as humans. Yet the female vampires are all straight. That was a conscious choice and it made zero sense. It would be random and as the people were as humans.
Andrei/Armand/Amadeo broke my heart many times by just talking... such a sad tragic but amazing character. He was taken from his life and later turned too young and unlike Lestat he didn't have the strength or even a chance to think free and make his choices and build himself into an independent person before turned. so for centuries he was lost and needed something or someone else to give him purpose and guide him and he kept loosing that purpose so many times.. Everyone should read at least first 4 books of Chronicles they are amazing!!! RIP Anne. my heart is broken because we will never get another book in this universe. Lestat might be my fave, but Armand will always be most special vampire she wrote. and he will always me Amadeo in my heart :)

Ms. Anne, PLEASE release feast of all saints again! It is a great movie and my grandfather 's family had some of the same stories. My grandtante said she was the last to marry in this way. My DVD was broken in a move and I cannot find it for sale. I would pay for a download!!!
I would love to see Barry Jenkins make a mini series movie of this like he did with The Underground Railroad. This book is very underrated and it would be a beautiful masterpiece of a mini series.
Does anyone know where you can rent or stream this movie?? I've been looking for months. I can only find it for dvd purchase on like 2 sites. I don't even have a dvd player anymore. Why wouldn't the studio have this out on the market for rental? Don't they want to make money and royalties?

I am new to the VC, and I loved this book too. Also, The Vampire Armand. Marius is my favorite of all of them, though I haven’t gotten to Blood and Gold yet. His influence is felt through these 2 books.
Getting old puts the fear of god into you I see. Her earlier works when she says "even atheists believe in the devil" showed me that she was never n atheist, and can't or simply refuses to understand that concept. It's sad to me because she DOES understand the truth..... but fear drives her to believe in god in any way she can. So she believes in the flesh. So like a woman, that. That moment lestat had during the golden moment. The understanding of death. The view of the universe expanding through blackness past the stars past time..... She knows this feeling. I've known this feeling since I was a child. Like she says... you can't voluntairily bring it on, you CAN invite it though..... and sometimes it just shows up uninvited and you see it and you KNOW IT. While this might be too much to bare..... we still cannot abandon critical thought.
