Hughes/Md500 series...the best ever! Great video! 😀My father worked with an MD500E (HA-MSJ) in the early 1990's (sightseeing, agriculture works) here in Hungary. I have flown with him many times when I was a child. That was awesome! Those yellow birds were wery fast and agile!
I'm building a single seat experimental that will behave quite similarly to an md500 with slightly higher power to weight. Would love to fly to NZ. Much respect from Aus.
I wish I could buy an AS350b3 / h125... That's such a sweet platform. After watching a promo video of one touching down on the summit of Mr Everest for 3+ mins, I said to myself, no wonder it's such a high-volume selling platform.
Love it!! it was interesting to see the 2 AStars, 1 with the new white striped t/r scheme and the other with the standard yellow tip stripes... i think i like the new scheme best.. 😎👍
I just watched a very early video from the 70's about venison harvesting there in NZ, they were using lots of Hillers and I was very curious why you guys picked Hillers over something like the Bell 47 which would've been a more popular machine in the 70's
Brilliant video, Cheers My cousin lost a few of these and other ones flying behing Crushington chasing deer, as he said to me, its a bugger when everything closes in , the deer can fit but the 500 couldn't unfortunatly
Amazing video. Will forever be my favourite helicopter. Watching this makes me regret not sticking with flying... recognise some people and some regos.
