It's so great to see you post Curator! It's been a wonderful year for some of us animation heads. Unfortunately for me, Xfinity hasn't picked up Me-TV Toons so I'm sort of out of luck for the moment. However, seeing your videos makes me feel better
Thank you so much for the comment. I appreciate it coming from you. Also, there are alternatives to catching it. It's on Philo, FrndlyTV and Sling. You have another option with getting an antenna since it's an over the air network. I'm working on a review of the channel.
It doesn't seem that it hit FiOS yet because I checked it this morning and only seen MeTV. FrndlyTV, Sling, Philo, or just an antenna are your best bets to watch the channel
I see some 1970's Hanna-Barbera shows on the MeTV Toons schedule. But what about Speed Buggy? Even only 1 season of 16 episodes was produced, those episodes aired on all three networks on Saturday mornings being: CBS, ABC and NBC over the course of the 1970's and early 1980's, then it was put in syndicated reruns on various markets, and were part of the first batch of cartoons that aired on the USA Network Cartoon Express in 1983 or 1984. More recently, Speedy put in a couple appearance in the early years of Cartoon Network. One of the Popeye clips was from Hanna-Barbera's The All New Popeye Hour/Show. I'll be like watching The Family Channel's Fam TV block in the early-mid 90's again.
This is a problem they will run into. Keeping the lineup fresh. This was also a stumbling block that Cartoon Network faced when acquiring Hanna Barbera's catalog
It should air on those providers from what I saw from the list. It is if you get over the air channels in your region. The best bet is to get an antenna or Philo
I would like to see MeTV have a Nick Jr or PBS kids like channel that star old preschool shows Like Dragon Tales, Chloe’s Closet and Muppets Babbies it would be pretty good just saying
Muppet Babies might be a long shot since The Muppets are owned by Disney but I am crossing my fingers that it ends up on this channel. That and Alvin and the Chipmunks are two cartoons I clamor for a DVD box set release
@@MrJoshinJosh I am pretty sure this channel isn't going to have Teen Titans Go. It seems like there will be a lot of the early 2000s toons in there in a later time. I saw Jackie Chan Adventures, Freakazoid (which is actually on the schedule for the channel) and Xiaolin Showdown in the graphic for the channel. That's no mere coincidence. And we haven't seen their Saturday morning presentation yet.
I heard about that. This is great. It's going to give content creators and viewers like you a chance to consume them without pushback. Creators can now put their own spin on the cartoons. This is a great preservation taken to a new level
@@MrJoshinJosh It's more than awesome. This is the next evolution in preservation. When a cartoon is public domain, it gives many creators ideas to emulate without any pushback. Great example of this is when Steamboat Willie and Winnie the Pooh went into public domain. We are getting new renditions of these classic IPs in ways we could never had imagined

No, this is something completely different. Those channels are owned by a different company than the one doing MeTV Toons. This channel is ran by Weigel Broadcasting. So no worries. But this channel has a huge potential to become better than Boomerang
I think the only downfall to this channel is that it's not launching Nationwide for me the channel has it been announced in my area yet which is in Dayton Ohio or even Cincinnati just Cleveland😢.

Some of the cartoons that I would like to see on this channel are the classic DC & Marvel cartoon shows as well as some of the original Charlie Brown specials.
I love it!! All of the Charlie Brown have to be on there. Every single one of them. Hopefully there is no issue getting them on there. The Marvel shows could pose a problem but I would love to see something like Superfriends or Superman 89
You can forget about Marvel. Disney has their own TV channel and streaming service. Same with Charlie Brown. The entire SNoopy franchise is owned by Apple now I believe. But Batman the Animated Series would fit right in.
Jonny Quest - the 80s syndicated series has to be on there. That series was really good. Real Adventures of Jonny Quest and the movies that proceeded them would be a huge win for the channel. It seems they are going to show animated movies as well. On Sundays

Glad to see that we’re getting a schedule. While I don’t live in an area that it’ll be launching this June, I’m curious to see just how well it’ll do and how people will respond to it. So far, things have been positive, so hopefully as time goes on, that’ll lead to the network being brought into other states and possible platforms for people to see it on. No, MeTV Toons is going to be on air. This is a channel that will be free to watch like a regular commercial network channel. This is why this channel is a huge deal.

Pixar is going to pop back up but Disney is going to make them irrelevant unless Disney stop making movies that don't have an audience attached to them. Mufasa isn't going to do good for them
from the look of the trailer for the channel, it looks like it's going to be a free alternative to Boomerang. I guarantee Scape Goofs is going to be on there. It is looking to bring the same vibe that Cartoon Network at the start of its inception. This is going to be huge. I'm going to revew the channel in June. I am so excited for MeToons
