I am correct to deduce that when Isaac visits Gideon - Gideon has not yet rigged the shotgun to not fire for lucy's mom, thus - this Isaac is out of his normal timeline, if he indeed even has one? Because the timeline that Isaac visits Gideon, or so we are led to believe, Lucy was a detective because the shotgun went off, sending her down that path and not the one where she births Isaac. I say 'so we are led to believe' because when Gideon supposedly killed Lucy (with that same shotgun - WOW), could we not assume that since he has a weapon and just killed someone (supposedly) that the police would also shoot to eliminate the threat? That would mean he is not being held somewhere that Isaac could grow up and visit him at. This makes the line "why did you shoot my mom?" even more crazy because it was in a different timeline/life. Crazy good story-telling.
I haven't read in any of the reviews/commentary about the significance of the wound/scar on Carmy's hand. It has burned off his entire heart line. Does this mean he is turning into a heartless "monstre de cuisine" (like that horrible SOB who gave him his ulcer), or is he just cursed in love (Claire)?
Thank you for these reviews. I enjoyed all of season # 1. I think that there are plenty of people who dont know this show exists or they just haven't had a good opportunity to view these episodes but once it gets going it wouldnt surprise me if your youtube channel gets flooded with others looking to dissect each episode for the not so obvious details. Winter is coming and more people will get a good opportunity to watch amd enjoy this series.
I've watched a couple of episodes of season 2, (quite a few times), and I'm utterly confused. I simply can't work out what's new and what's a slightly different recap from season 1.
I'd suggest doing a seperate neutral recap, and a seperate review. People watching a recap do so because they want to watch season 2, which means they must have enjoyed season 1. The sarcasm is not really necessary, even though you're not wrong. But this is fantasy, not Star Trek.
4:03. Wonder if she has been to the future and now can transfer her Conciousness to her body in that time. BTW if someone in time traveling movies dies they can be watching as their other self or come back a few seconds earlier until their too young to walk
In the episode where joy comes back after 4 years she and royale could feel and see what we changed and royale even said he thought he killed his dad from cross fire. They are changing the 1 reality. If they were jumping realities. Anyone who jumped would surely meet themselves and probably wipe of been told to make a certain decision on the future. Maybe a long haired Royale
What really broke me in this scene is that you can feel how hurt he is you just cant see it anymore in his face. Just tears coming out no facial expressions. Just fucking tears. 😢
So difficult a scene to watch, but impossible to look away. Whilst not always a perfect performance, for such a young actor to principally carry such an intense scene, in one shot is simply mind-blowing to me! He deserves some nods for this. This actor actor has a bright future. Amazing!
Thanks for the summary. The book and the show barely match. From the characters’ names, to their personalities, to even their backstories…it’s like a whole difference story
I think that they were slaves not concubines. The person in armor wielding the sword in the first scene is a female, so it’s the Queen perhaps winning the battle at the end.
Hey, this is actually on my radar to do next week. I'll be doing a full season recap of Supacell now that it's been renewed (which is great news!) so it makes sense to chuck all of it into one long video. Really appreciate the support!
I thought the acting wasn't very good and felt like a cheaply made soap opera esp with the music used. Plus the voice over they used wasnt syncing up either. Such a sad story that Netflix used to make extra money.
