Did the research and found this live version is Michael English!! Someone told me it was Gary McSpadden, however, he left The Gaither Trio in 1988 and was replaced by Michael. This was recorded in 1989. Either one, they both did a spiritually moving version. Every time I listen to it, God comforts and encourages me through it ❤️ (Really love this version!). I just love this song over and over again, singing to him because my mind keeps recalling a very special supernatural incident that happened on the road. Same concept like that movie, China Cry. The scene when she was in front of a firing squad knowing she is about to die and yet she murmured the words, as I walk in the valley of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me...then the miracle happened. God is commanding me to write a book, my life story so full many, many powerful testimonies he wants me to share the love he demonstrated in my lifetime testimonies. I never wrote a book before and I am not a writer. Well let's see what happens. I'll obey him and this is my way of saying, I am thankful and always grateful. I am in love with him.... Praise God!! Nov 19, 2019: I met this amazing woman many years ago at a Men's Christian Fellowship event in Albuquerque, which I believe saved my life! She was attractive, well-dressed and gracious, but her presence took me somewhere between heaven and hell....terrifying. (Since I was a child, I knew God didn't have a Name. Raised as a Catholic to worship the Queen of Heaven, my life would become a struggle for survival in the midst of those who despised my faith.) Her presence in that hall was eerie and haunting, and left me with the impression that she had encountered EVIL in her home country of China. As odd as it sounds, her aura radiated an energy that transcended the material world. This unseen power had conquered DEATH, a foe that we must all face.

Thank you for a little background on one the best worship leaders/Psalmist this country has had. I just learned he passed away in the Spring of 2020, he went ahead of us & is resting until the sound of trumpet. Looking forward to worshipping the Lord with him for all eternity. Very humble man and very kind..if you wrote to him he would answer you as if he'd known you all his life.
