4:41 I’m sorry, what? The parliament made them a ward of the crown in order to exploit them for public opinion? Yup, no difference between a subject and a citizen…smh In a time where no doubt the king was completely aware of these little girls on the other side of the world because he certainly wasn’t pre occupied by a peculiar mustachioed German. 5:56 I can’t. It’s ok for the government to take kids away from their parents if the government can give them more privileges. It scares me that people still thought like that in 1998.
Actually from 1994 based on those NHL playoff matchups. Love seeing these sports breaks, didn’t have cable at the time and it being pre-internet it was so exciting! Hard to imagine now with access to so much stuff.
it's quite funny to me that being an early syndication rerun (these - while not many are available online - are known to remove then current topics) they kept the whole thing mentioning there was only one vote for household
I know they'll probably never read it or reply with some ChatGPT nonsense but I sent that email regardless. Our publicly funded videos should not be gatekept by a privatizing "charitable organization" that wasn't even around when these videos were made. They probably are just jealous because the only ones people watch are the old ones. The videos they've produced are often just phoned in with greenscreen and some drama students.
They also want to have control over them- which is why they removed the Louis Riel minute from their platforms. You can still find it online though. Thank you for sending the e-mail. Hopefully others do too.
I was so looking forward to seeing the intro, too bad it wasn't recorded! I so loved the music in the opening titles and especially the closing credits, it would give me goose bumps every time I heard it! Thanks for posting this fabulous show! Tammy Wynette, Gary Fjelgaard AND Alan Jackson?!!! WOW!!! it brings back wonderful memories of Friday nights! My parents and I would watch the Dukes of Hazzard, The Tommy Hunter Show and Dallas every Friday night! Such wonderful times that I miss dearly!😔
I’m so passionate about this case. I feel so deeply and they should be a reminder that children still are not protected from exploitation! I hope we can see some laws in their name go through before they turn 100! Family vloggers and parents of child actors need to set aside money for their kids! I cannot believe my ears, I feel so deeply for these women. 😢 they are so strong!
Yeah - the new generations don't understand that there was a time when HD could only be seen on 35mm film in a cinema environment (and even then there was gate weave, dust & scratches on the film)!
I remember as a kid before going to school I would watch breakfast television and looking forward to seeing him .Many times I would laugh at his jokes or just being funny .You will be sadly missed R.I.P Scott
Goodbye my oldest friend...... you've left me with a lot of great memories of growing up together....our first band (Time Capsule).....moving to Ontario and then you going back again to Cape Breton which turned out to be the right move after all..... I wish you didn't have to cancel when I went down to see you last fall..... damn chest cold....... I was about to invite you up to my place when I got the terrible news. I will miss our chats on the phone..... till we meet again..... I will come to where you are at......
I worked with Scott on a few Breakfast Television remotes here in New Brunswick back in the 90’s and he was super friendly to everyone he met, including me. He genuinely enjoyed what he did and was a pro.
Was very shocked & saddened to hear of Scott's death! He truly was one of the best & truly have us laughing! Like a lot of Maritimers, I grew up watching Scott on Breakfast Television! On school days, I would watch BT before heading out the door to school & when school is cancelled & on summer vacation, I would watch the whole show! The Maritimes has lost a wonderful person! Taken from us way too soon! We will miss him very, very much! #RIPScottBoyd
