The front side Air’s were my favorite, and then that one arm hand plant would be my second favorite as it was a move that Jay Adams first started doing, and then there was the skater with the fedora looking like Christian Hosoi because it was Christian Hosoi wish we could’ve seen a Christ Air
In the 80s and 90s we wouldn't go near this place, too localized. I got to surf it consistently back in 2016 and it was mostly beginners out there and people that work in the film industry. It's actually a powerful and fast wave. It tends to wall up a lot, but once in a while you could catch a steep drop in and get covered up and out to the shoulder.
Always fun to see well spoken collegiate scholars like our philosophizing friend, Mr. Spit-Sophisticate here, get justifiably put on a timeout. His colorful use of adjectives (& language overall) coupled with such beautifully bulletproof logic is a breath of fresh air! CAN'T YOU SEE!!! He's just an artist being held down by the man, man!
Hosoi is so frigging smooth and has the best style. Yeah there were others skating faster and gnarlier, but he just stands out over everybody. RIP Jay boy
Rip to the biggest skateboarding legend of all time jay adams if it wasn't for him there wouldn't be skateboarding today he is my inspection and not just for me but for every body that skates lord's of dogtown is my all time favorite movie and because of jay adams I skateboard myself his legacy still lives on in all of our skateboarding hearts ( rip to a true skateboarding legend a icon my childhood hero and a lord's of dogtown og )
