Thanks for the video water checked mine and my seem crack was not nearly as big as yours I did however see the smallest ammount of water coming from it but one rain storm that's hours of water . Just dried everything up and cleaned and flex sealed it about 2 coats gonna wait the 24 hours and hope for the best thank you
Did this keep everything dry? I am having this on my 2004 Yukon, and got to get it fixed. Also how did you get that plastic panel to pull up? Mine wants to stay down and not pull up. Thanks
Has not leaked since. If you are referring to the black panel, you just have to pull up on it to bend it. It should be plyable. It is rubber. You will have to put something under it like a can. I used a flash light to hold it up. You will see it at the 1min mark. If you are referring to the plastic trim panel that is tan or grey, you just have to pull it till it pops off. Those are held on by clips that snap in and out.
@@michaelhenry1692 Is it only on the driver side? One other spot to seal is shown at 18 seconds in the video. I show the the black boot coming from the door to the cab. I sprayed the boot connection to the cab to make sure water was not entering there. I used painters tape to keep it neat. Make sure to pull the tape before it drys.
