@@backcountry_beast_adventures Northern Cape Breton is known to get alot, but I moved south of Halifax and Holy chit, we don't get any amount of snow. Might snow three days, and last about a week
@kennethalcorn7104 I think amazon and it looks like a weed Wacker motor with a pully on the side. It had strap ypu wrap around tree for anchor. It's called a portable winch
Hi Scott im not sure if you remember me im dave Cottrells son we spent a weekend hunting with you and your family back in 2004 we helped you pack a little bit bof some last minute stuff up from your camp. It was honestly one of the funnest weekends of hunting ive had in my life. Youd just got that awesome hunting rig i think you called it swamp donkey. Ill never forget when we got those 2 bulls in that swamp i had to buck a couple loggs out of the way while riding on the moose as you winched it across the pond. Those are memories ive cherished growing older. Anyway i just randomly saw this video come across my feed. I hope all is well with you and your family. Hopefully maybe one day i can introduce you to my family. Anyway , it looks like you guys are doing great. Keepnup the awesome videos. Cheers 🍻
just found your channel last night and I can't stop watching. I am a new trapper and appreciate the information you are putting out. how are you dispatching the larger fur bearers ?
beautiful country and your very lucky to have such a place , the only down side for me are those 4 LOUD mufflers if I owned those machines those mufflers would be made to shed a lot less NOISE
Your video just shiwed up on my recommended videos list and RU-vid got it right wasn't long before I was hitting the subscribe button and turn on notifications so I won't miss future videos, you have heaven on earth there. Looking forward to watching your new videos and catching up on the older ones. Have a great week
I’m anxious to get trapping again this year! I used to take my kids out every season when they were growing up and it’s been a few years since I’ve done it now. Your videos are inspiring. Rock on guys!
@shannonnicollechannel5884 awesome I'm happy to hear that! It is an excellent way to spend time with friends and family in the forest. I hope you do get to go out with your kids this season and have good luck! Thanks for watching 🍻
@rudycarlson8245 I'm not to sure. It was originally built in the 60s and burned down and rebuilt in the 80s. I should do a video of all the cabins history.
