I never got to see this episode when I was growing up as I'm sure they didn't air it on Scottish TV. This was largely down to a bus crash into a low bridge that involved a group of Girl Guides and their leaders from Drumchapel in September 1994. A friend of mine died that day and, after watching this several years later, this still haunts me!

Tbh a rerun or a revive of this show would be brilliant but limited, they couldn’t do scenes and incidents like this due to budget and bulls**t. Would be nice to get a rerun with the modern equipment.

That foam looks like it's from a bath bomb. Real FF foam, especially one used for smothering things like that and filling confined spaces, is thicker and also caustic and sticky and I don't think anyone could survive drowning in it

I have to say the level of attention to technical details is much higher than in Chicago Fire for example
