Emotions that overwhelm a person can cause all types of mental symptoms. It is not an illness..but it is very disruptive to your life. Hearing Voices Network as well as Open Dialogue approach practiced in Finland since the 1980s, helps people to come back to themselves, usually without medications. Psychosis & other symptoms are actually emotional crisis. This is still very disruptive. But there is no brain disease or pathology. Only big emotions that need gentle handling.

Sometimes psychic mediums with spiritual gifts and intuitive sensitivity of clairvoyance and or clairaudience etc can be falsely labeled psychotic and force medicated sadly.

I was a firm believer that weed is harmless for the best part of 30 years. You don't realise the damage it does until it's done, there's a fine line between use and abuse when it comes to weed

@@justbeinghayden9451 yes you're 100% right I couldn't agree more with your whole video but just one thing to note is that the people who weed does effect negatively don't realise until it's too late and their already suffering. As a lifetime smoker I strongly recommend to avoid it altogether no matter who you are. It's no worth psychosis and skitzophrenic illnesses further down the line. My pleasure mate 👍 thankyou for sharing too. New sub and working through your videos and journey. Hope your well these days dude 😎

My son is going through this right now and I was wondering when you personally became aware that you were in psychosis. He says he feels fine. He does not realize or acknowledge his behaviors. Is it something that he has to be told about or is it something he will become aware of? He is at the hospital right now and they have not talk to him about it.

Thank you for sharing and I am sorry your family is going through this. It can be really stressful. In my experience it takes time. Think of it like being altered by a substance or alcohol, it takes time to come back down from the experience. After he has come back down, there is a process of picking up the pieces and noticing the delusions. This takes time and is a process to tease out what is reality and what is delusion. Until he is partially grounded he will not be able to understand he is having delusions or that he is in psychosis. Hope that is helpful. I am sending you positive energy during this difficult time! 🙏

Really brave to share your story. So many people struggle behind closed doors. Just followed you on instagram. It's taken me a few years myself to overcome psychosis which was induced by taking psychedelics. It can be a long journey and the path isn't linear. Reality is strange enough on its own. I work in healthcare now and have patients that struggle as well. I don't work in mental health but patients who deal with these kinds of purchases touch my heart the most.

It takes most people an entire lifetime and they never fully recover. Indeed, most people spend their entire lives asleep in the midst of a steady stream of continuous projections. Can 100,000 people hallucinate at the same time? How else do you explain history?
@justbeinghayden9451
@justbeinghayden9451 11 дней назад
Evidence suggests that more than 50% of first time psychosis experiences recover and have a high life satisfaction. www.cambridge.org/core/journals/psychological-medicine/article/good-life-with-psychosis-rate-of-positive-outcomes-in-firstepisode-psychosis-at-10year-followup/C4B9226581F6A02E5D3DE3323421DD69#

Be mindful that what you say can have a big impact on others. Posting something like "most people take an entire lifetime to recover and never fully recover" without evidence can be discouraging or destructive to people in this recovery process, especially since there is direct evidence to disprove that.

Dude, your psychosis was not caused by DMT or cannabis. You were already mentally unstable and are someone who should not use psychedelics because you are too prone to psychosis and too irresponsible to handle the gift. You can't even use language well. Please stay away from drugs, alcohol, and get the help you need. And learn the difference between 'Jesus' and 'Christ'. Ye'shua was not Christ, and Christianity was not what he taught.

I got psychotic spontaneously, no drugs, for about 2 weeks in dec 2023. It was wild ride. Became an atheist in an aftermath of the experience. I was never religious but I always believed in something. Spiritual, you might call it. It's been half year and I realized it's all f... bonkers.

That is a conversation with your doctor. It depends on your specific recovery and medication you are on. The protocol changes depending on those factors.

Psychosis and episodes of mania can create dilation in the eyes. So probably it was not the DMT but from the psychosis I was experiencing.
