Just for kicks I went to the Spiritus Systems website and pieced together an entire micro fight chest rig in the configuration you had in the video for $265.06. With that said, there is no reason this rig should cost so much.
I couldn’t care less of safariland is made in Mex. It’s better than china. Sadly, a lot of American made stuff I’ve noticed has gone downhill. If it’s good quality, you’ll be paying top dollar compared to less for something of equal or sometimes higher quality from somewhere like Mex. or elsewhere that isn’t china.
You would be a lot better with reloads if your pistol was up in front of your eyes when mag exchanging, you are lower your gun and looking down then having to swing back up after inserting the mag. Slow down. Also don’t swoop out. Great work I enjoyed the video.
Been quite surprised and satisfied with Caliber Armor plates. Great value for the money. Also great customer service too. I wanted some IIIA soft armor for my cummerbund, but got a size that was a little too big. CA offered to do a custom job for my plate carrier that I own (ATS) and it came out great with no charge for returning the previous IIIA soft armor!
Front pocket that thang with my G34 like a true uber-alpha male. Holsters are for zeta-betas. 😂 Honestly right now I’m a Safariland user - 6360 level 3, G34/X300 w optic. Drilled out the lens plug to allow brass to fall clear, added a Nub and lost the cheeto guard. Safariland 6000s have been the standard for 2 decades, especially going up to level 3. USDG look like solid alternatives but they are more expensive - my brand new 6360 plain STX finish was $140 new from Amazon, USDG’s comparable holster is almost $300. American made vs Hecho en Mexico - wonder how many former Safariland employees now work at USDG? If I move back to Beretta for my duty pistol USDG is the only viable option, but they only currently offer a level 2 for the Beretta with light / optic.
