Regardless of the brand if the design is the same, you’re only variable is the thickness of the blade at the edge. Back in the 70s and 80s the edge profile was very sharp as this was needed for chopping vegetation a.k.a. the power composter. The red tines do not have that as an edge like the old ones. But they are thinner than the Chinese counterpart.
Great video review of the tiller tines. Can't believe nobody commented as this is the best review I've seen and I watch every Troy-Bilt Tiller video. What about the BOLO tines? Have you tested them?
Just bought a set of universal and they are $56.00 free shipping. That’s three sets to one ? As far as the extra holes I’ve never seen any broken ones and when they get that old , you can replace them two more times for the price. Not that hard to replace. I’ll wait until I can find a good set on sale. Thanks for the comparison. Good video but prices ?
on the video you say that the red tines came from what sounds like,( clark family farms ) , is that right? and is here any other place to buy good tines.
