I loved the mechanism idea of the table but in my case I wanted to be more higher off the ground than a regular table size, because of pets and small children getting to mess with my food while I am putting the food on the table
Is there a size restriction in relation to desired small/large size? So, if I wanted a 2 person table, could that extend up to a circumference that suits 12 (exaggerated) If there is a restriction, could further engineering be offered to have one tables that can and would suit 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc to stay and look 'round' This is incredible, and keen to know limitations
I won’t shop anywhere cause it’s local. I’ll shop somewhere local if it’s good. The biggest killer of local business is the government robbing all business with high rates. Especially up here in Scotland. Where they love forcing big and small businesses to close with sky high rates then putting “retail redevelopment” schemes in place to turn those shut stores into housing. I was at a town meeting where they were taking about what housing would be like on a sight where a current successfully businesses are situated. Anybody would think the SNP government were slowly turning the town centre into a housing estate on purpose. While they continue to build out of town retail that everyone objected to even though they claim nobody objected to. But apparently the objections only counted if they were at the meeting that they were only told about.
I love this table, but the curvature was bugging me. The segments have a common radius that is somewhere between a the small and large -table position, and isn't obvious unless you're looking for it. I really like the locking design once it's fully opened.
I wonder if Covid might mean the end of offshoring - a lot of countries haven't been able to make their own vaccines(e.g. my country, Canada) and will be leery in the future of allowing factories and laboratories to move to other countries.
Thats not always true. I shop local and there not aways more expensive. They carry quality goods too. I bought some awesome pillows from a local company and producers. The pillows retail for $108 but I got them for $49.99 each. My local store has worked with the company since they were working out of garage. The big company's dont care about quality. They buy from same brands that have been around since before my parents time. These big people only see you wallet not about you.
Have you about a patnership with IKEA and distributing your table as a flat pack? ;) Or maybe a partnership with Sisyphus, each leaf could contain it's own ball and make a giant sand table! sisyphus-industries.com/
