It's in pre-release at the moment, so you can already use it (see link in description). I don't expect major changes anymore for when the first stable version releases.
With the webhooks add-on, I believe you can't store specific parts of the API response and use that with merge tags (this isn't shown in the video but more info on my site). Then there a couple of more advanced settings, such being able to set the timeout time, SSL verification on/off, waiting for response on/off (all from the UI). You can also, for debugging purposes, log the entire request and response which can be very handy. Then of course, the interface differs a little bit.
Also another cool feature, is merge tag manipulations. So, if for example, your API expects a date in a specific format while you don't want to use it in your form that way, you can use those. Or split up field values. More here: vanrossum.dev/docs/gf-send-to-api/v1/merge-tag-manipulations
is it possible to have on of the form fields when capturing see the data via api to validate it has not already captured it so does device im linking form data to exist?
Nice job Jeffrey! I'll appreciate if you can add the capability to validate data dynamically using API. e.g. If i would like to call my API endpoint to see if a domain name is available or not. Do you think it would be possible to do that using your plugin?
Hi! You can use basic auth and bearer auth. But it's also possible to set custom headers for the request. To be sure if it works you, I'd need an example. You can contact me through my site.
If you have a good Vite setup for WordPress themes, maybe you can contribute it to TailPress on GitHub? I would be willing to add it to TailPress as an option
Wonderful video! I'm late to the party and just started using Tailwind. Watching your video on how to use TailPress is the perfect bootcamp! Thank you so much for your work on this project. And the TailPress videos have been so very helpful :)
Hi, thanks for purchasing! 8.0 and 8.1 are supported as of now. This is because 7.4 is no longer maintained by PHP. But I will check if everything works on 7.4 and if it does, release a compatible version. Can you send me an email so I can contact you (see website for contact form)? If you’d rather be refunded, let me know.
Hello Jeffrey, thanks for your video and your content, I would like to ask you if is there any way to configure a data layer with gravity forms? thanks
@@jeffrey.rossum yes sure, I need a datalayer with the information of purchase, like price, email, id transaction. you can do with the plugin GTMWP only for woocomerce but i can't do with gravity forms
do you have a method for utilizing that? I thought navwalker was a bootstrap thing, not for tailwind. thanks for calling this out. I'm about to get started and menus are always one of the most time consuming things about building.
when I try run npm watch i get the following error message tailpress@0.1.0 watch > cross-env NODE_ENV=development concurrently "npm run watch:css-app" "npm run watch:css-editor" "npm run watch:js" The command "cross-env" is either misspelled or could not be found. What am I doing wrong?
Hey, when I try to run npm run watch I get this error > tailpress@3.0.0 watch:css-app [0] > tailwindcss -i "./resources/css/app.css" -o "./css/app.css" --postcss --watch [0] [2] [2] > tailpress@3.0.0 watch:js [2] > ./node_modules/.bin/esbuild "./resources/js/app.js" --bundle --outfile="./js/app.js" --watch [2] [2] '.' is not recognized as an internal or external command, [2] operable program or batch file. [1] [1] > tailpress@3.0.0 watch:css-editor [1] > tailwindcss -i "./resources/css/editor-style.css" -o "./css/editor-style.css" --postcss --watch [1] [2] npm run watch:js exited with code 1 I understand theres something about the path not being correct with the dots. I tried changing them out etc but couldn't get it working...
A little side note for Mac OS users: you may need to add the system path to ~/.bash_profile file, not ~/.bashrc or ~/.zshrc. This worked: add to ~/.bash_profile the line: export PATH=~/.composer/vendor/bin:$PATH
@@jeffrey.rossum I also get "The syntax of the command is incorrect.", when writing "yes" and hitting enter, after the installer asks if I would like to install WordPress as well. What to do here?
I'm starting to understand wordpress an I think Tailpress and Tailwind may be the way to go for what I want to do. Keep doing it, can't wait to see another video!
