(15:30 - 15:33) ~ I really don’t think that’s a _”remote or magazine / book holder”_ … given its location. I am willing to bet it’s a mini spice rack holder. 🤔

It amazes me how much they cost and have no engine of their own! I remember when you could buy one of these for 8-12 thousand dollars. The first one I had cost 1,100 and was a couple of years old.
it amazes me how much they can fit in a truck camper with function yet the larger the RV or trailer gets the more space they just waste. If they put the same thought about space and function in a larger trailer they would be amazing.
2:34 Please box in the front of the water tank so I don't damage anything using the storage, and protect those wires going off to the right. 4:09 Every lithium battery I've seen has holes in the terminals for 8mm bolts, so I'd rather have ring connectors than terminal clamps. Also I'd like a composting toilet option. Otherwise, great camper! Hopefully in a few years they'll start showing up on the used market in my price range and I'll be happy to do these mods myself. 🙂
Same style sink that they put in the nee T@B 360 and no one likes it. The one-piece cover takes up the whole countertop. At least split it in the middle so you can have the sink accessible with the burner side covered and serving as a countertop space.
Vaylence! Come on man! It’s a valance, and I nearly deckled myself when I heard you say deckles. Good video, bad English, expensive and it’s just a camper. I’m just picking on you, but you made me laugh a couple times. Goto love them Canadians! Not Trudeau tho he’s a Hitler! He said the pot drawer! Oh that’s legal in Canada 🇨🇦? I like the 4 season aspect of this camper. No slides no leaks.
You’re totally right 😂 I always say valence instead of valance, oops! But my decal pronunciation is correct the same way Dee-cal is 😉 Glad I made you laugh lol, thanks for watching! ✌️
With all the carpet on the ceiling, I wonder how it is in regards to keeping scents that you might not want the camper to keep. For instance, cooking food in the camper, I could imagine that the carpet on the ceiling is going to just keep those cooking scents.
These are the questions we need to ask! Absolutely great point. With the maxxair fan and the range hood that actually vents outside, I would think that unless you’re using excessive oil or doing something crazy like searing a steak, you shouldn’t have any issues keeping the carpet from holding on to smells. Any owners here that can chime in?
I like the camper however, the dining table is absolutely not Sapele. Couple reasons... Sapele is a fine grain mahogany and weighs a tone. That grain is absolutely a plain sawn (plain slice) white oak. White oak still weighs a lot so almost always a table size pc of furniture is always a plywood. and not a solid pc. Actually for this purpose a plywood makes more sense than solid oak. Plywood is more stable and less likely to warp and much lighter in weight. The table in your video is wrapped with a solid white oak band. Same reason cabinets in a home are made with plywood boxes and solid wood fronts. prove me wrong. lol
I’d love to get to the bottom of this, since you aren’t the first person to bring this up. Their marketing materials all say sapele table, I’ve clarified with the factory before and they confirmed that it’s sapele, but I’m thinking that maybe it’s just the darker accent line that’s actually sapele. Do you think that could be the case?
I was laying diagonally with my elbow up lol. That would make me like 7 feet tall. It’s 72”, so it’s 6’. I can lay down on it in a normal sleeping position (read: not stretched out as far as I can) no problem.
Great question! I call this one a class C, since it has straight sidewalls and the overhead bunk. There's some overlap, but typically units without the overcab bunk are B+ (often they have curved sidewalls as well), and then class Bs are van conversions.
Nice truck camper. I just bought the Soaring Eagle 6.5XL loaded and out the door for $23,500--No wood in the Eagle, it's all Aluminum. It's great for weekends fishing at Toledo Bend. No squatting on the back of my F-150 4X4.😀
