Why is it you can never get an actual video on the meters and drives of these machines on video?all you get is the feel good stuff. Like the big cat you get with your chemical. Or the sexy girl with the car? I think farmers are starting to look a bit deeper. !!! Maybe I'm wrong?
Purely speculation: Very likely by shining light over the length of the tube and a light sensor on the other side measures where the lights were blocked. By measuring the distance between the blocked areas, one can determine distance between them. I imagine such an approch would only work if you send the seeds along the tube in batches.
How does the seeder get power? I didn't see any kind of pto or anything from the tractor. I've been playing farming sim 17 and the only connection to the tractor is to tow it. Is there some kind of generator driven by the wheels that powers the seeder or something?
