Actually tracks are not the disease, tracks are only a symptom of the disease, the real disease is we have soft boned horses that need soft tracks because they have soft bones, and they have soft bones because we have soft tracks, it is a vicious circle, they even try to hide the truth from us, they changed the definition of a good track, a Good 4 used to be a rain affected track, Now a 4 rated track is a "Good track" what changed? certainly not Nature? wet is still wet....unless we call wet "DRY" If you step back and think when did this problem start, it started slowly in the 90's with the huge influx of European horses....they needed soft tracks, so they got what they wanted....but Bones are like muscles, if you do not load them, they get weak, Think of it like this, one of the major problems with space travel is Gravity, prolonged stays in space will weaken your bones considerably, when you come back to earth just the earth Gravity will break your bones because your bones have not had a load on them, they get weak and brittle, that is an exaggerated example but the same principle When the grass roots are constantly wet 7 days a week 365 days a year, the grass also gets weak , it doesn't sink roots down into the ground, plants sink roots looking for water, if the water is always there it won't sink roots, hence horses galloping on it does a lot of damage Have you heard the expression...When the going gets tough, the tough get going....well that applies to animals and grass too, they are molly coddled, you wonder why Tracks fall apart, I am no horticulturalist but I doubt you can keep grass constantly wet and not have root problems, Horses are always digging them up We have been racing horses in Australia for close to 200 years, since about 1810 and never had a problem, never had horses pulling up sore Australia is the driest inhabited Continent on the Planet....and they try to prepare European conditions, they are fighting nature every step of the way and Nature is not easy to beat, Nature never stops fighting back....trouble is we have made our bed, now we have to lay in it, we have weakened all of our stock, if we really did fix the tracks we would have no horses THE ANSWER IS A PINEAPPLE!

I learned early on, from his eyes. Chris however gives a more realistic chance without actually revealing his hand. Follow the betting closer to the off.
