Great content! FYI…in the future, check online for area/neighborhood free groups. So many gardeners divide their perennials in early spring/late autumn. Also, public libraries have started a seed savers catalog offering free seeds. Any gardening club could also be a good source for plants & seeds. I bet you’d even get some members to volunteer to come over and give you some ideas for the garden & backyard. I already see the huge lavender plant..can be cut back & dried for potpourri.

Wonderful son. Great job. I too, when younger, made the mistake of laying pavers without digging but go dig them into the pathway so they do not wobble and your older parents fall.
This was so sweet this channel makes me want to go down to my parents and do something for them but, my mom doesn't want me to touch her garden and my dad has organized everything. Maybe I can think of something else to do this was a good decompress series while I take a break from stressfully doing some school work this mid summer semester is really taking a hit on me where not wanting to do anything is taking control but to watch something this sweet. Just makes me want to hurry up and finish so that I can have more time to go down and see my parents.

I just bought a new home and I’m starting to renovate, I really appreciate your realistic timeline. I got really frustrated. It took me five days to just paint two rooms to perfection. I don’t think people realize how long this type of work takes and you’re actually going very fast, I am inspired to make a channel about slow or realistic renovation times.
I forgot to mention, while using Chemicals and the Sander, PLEASE wear a Paint Respirator Mask and paint in a well Ventilated area...perhaps outside. You may not feel the effect of the Chemicals or Dust now but... believe me when I say... You will unfortunately when you are older. Please be safe💞
I admire your tenacity! You did an amazing job! In the old days, I did this with my Children. I furnished our entire house by "Junking"...That's what I called it back then. Dishes also.
