No but you would be introducing air into the abs module, it can be a pain to flush it out completely. You have either no brake fluid in the system or a lot of air.
,Hi Might be better to have your original part repaired at www.upfix.com Here is service link www.upfix.com/product-category/repair-return/abs-modules-repair/
I’m working on this problem on a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE.-AC compressor what turn on even though R134A is okay, AC light in dash comes on and blower motor for heat and air comes on. According to owners manual there is a fusible like with 5 circuit breakers including 50amp for AC, 30 amp electric fan, 40 amp electric fan, 30 amp ABS, and 50amp ABS. This is first video that I have found that at least shows the fusible link.
I have problem with My 2008 altis the dashboard light, tail lights n front combination lights went off. Sometimes they are okay n at other time they went off again. What do you think the problem is?
A short like this in the blower motor could have caused a serious electrical fire in the car. The 50amp fuse stopped that from happening. If the new blower motor fails in the same way you could be out thousands of dollars or even the entire car. The money to buy the fuse and new blower motor is far less than a new car or the electrical fire damage it will do without a fuse.
Good point and thanks but didn’t have a lot of knowledge about electrical components and how they work . Update on the car is still working perfectly and not problems with AC or Blower , my aunt owns the car .
Aye I got a 2008 Toyota Tundra and the rear night lights just recently went off. Only the brake light and turn signal do work but the night lights don’t so what u think it could be? Thanks
