The last time I watched this movie, my grandma and grandpa were still alive. This was a few years ago… Remembering this movie hits really hard, especially since it’s about the feel of loss… 💔
I may be going nuts here but there are scenes in this that i don't recall from the movie - and i have watched on RU-vid and then went and bought the dvd. From about 1.10 to 1.35 there are scenes of what looks to be a funeral, then who i presume are the two brothers Shin and Shun when they were younger and finally who i assume is Asunas father giving his wife?? the clavis crystal that we then see Asuna placing into the cats whisker radio. I know the description says the video is a promotional so I guess these were left on the cutting room fooor, but is there an extended version/directors cut of the movie available or have i just not been paying attention??
I assume these were Flashbacks meant to flesh out the characters more but it would have probably messed with the pacing. Which is a shame because they never explained why Asuna had the clavis (I always just thought one of her descendants visited Agartha before)
it's been a really looooong time since i watched this movie for the first time 😭 still remember there were only 2 small parts in the beginning had vietsub back then, and primary school me had to watch the whole movie in a totally STRANGE language 😂 neither english nor vietnamese just bcs younger me was too obsessed with Hoshi o ou kodomo (idk the english title back then and kept using the japanese one till today lol)
I remember 6 years back I was randomly scrolling on RU-vid on my 3ds and just accidentally clicked on a video and watched this whole movie without my 3ds crashing like it usually did.
