Welcome to the World of Music! My name is Will and I make guitar covers from countless different genres including Indie, dreampop, rock and more! If you'd like to subscribe it'd be more than appreciated, just make sure to turn the notification bell on!
I also make bass covers and tutorials as well as many other random music related videos.
I've discovered the band through a Cringe Compilation video where a fan invaded the stage and tried to kiss Molly while they were performing Party Police, been a fan since.
I think another Northern America band Innocence Mission are a big influence on this band. The former have released some of the greatest melodic pop /folk music I have ever heard eg Someday coming , the lakes of Canada etc.
Have loved ALVVAYS for yeah, like 7 years and finally got to see them. I also think Greta Kline (Frankie Cosmos) is genius and so underappreciated. Has stood the test of time with me and love more with every listen.
Decode is still the best song of the group, and excellent song btw but somewhat undervalued because of the horrible movie and all thiat 2000's emo thing.
i can't wait for their next album. this band sits with me so well. it's like this band was made for me, because i don't judge music by genre. i judge by if it's actually good and if i can vibe to it.
I don't understand the point of this timeline ... it's like every period of their career is equal to one another and well the point to me of a bio is to illustrate the career of a band ... not enumerate their albums one by one
Hey, you missed the fact that Molly worked at my juice bar in Kensington Market before she moved on to the pizza restaurant. (I know, I know, you can’t include every detail)
Perfect storm. Gordon is as arrogant as they come. Lots of great artists are arrogant. He is an outstanding writer, a good performer, a skilled showman, and a competent musician. Andy and Stewart were good compliments stylistically and creatively to Gordon's style and creativity.
A cassette recorder with many songs in progress was stolen from Molly and Alec’s Toronto apartment. Many melodies and song ideas for the Blue Rev album were memorized by Molly. Basically, the band took these new songs and worked on Blue Rev anyway, with Molly reproducing everything from memory . This gives you some indication of their musical talent and Molly’s excellent memory for melody.
They are headed to Austin on April 28th. I just saw them this past Thursday in Cleveland. Definitely one of my most favorite concerts I've attended to date.
