Heard Baby D on Radio 2 the other day. The old cunts station. Just played it in the middle of the day like it was just another normal old cunts record. Guess I'm an old cunt now.

If that’s from 1992 I would love to know what mixer he is using. Loops,Reverb, Phaser,.Not unless it was a studio mix . Technically Amazing 🫡

subbed used to listen to the 808 state radio show. highly appreciated for you sharing legendary mixes and stuff like this, a lot of us have boxes full of old tapes from all the shows we used to be eager to record, and write down the tracks then travel all over the place to track them down, for me, i used to go to Manchester, piccadilly records, spin inn, and eastern block. i will never forget being in spin inn full of customers while tunes were being played, and dj X.T.C would say who wants this one, and everyone's hand would go up and reach out for a copy, this went on for an hour or so while me and my mates were there, times i will never forget and wont happen again. sat on thousands of tunes, collected over 30 plus years - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MS75YIBMvDw.html

Some believe our clubs in the 1990s were something akin to what was available back in the 1960s. I can now prove to the kids that the old 1990s clubs realy were great, many were better than what they have now.

Absolute legend, pioneer. Almost a god😮. Was always the best mix on all the old 8 tape packs i bought, Mickey finn, Ellise Dee, close. Never saw slipmatt live gutted thinking about it now. Watched Chinese Olympics 2008 i think. Opening ceremony they used his tune lol. Was on a microdot lol. Hope hes getting the royalties for all the bangers he did if not biggest injustice ever. Fookin legend. I think i went to an under18's saw him at sterns Worthing.😮😮😊😊😊🎉🎉❤❤❤

I dont know how it ended up there but their Top Cat sample ended up it on a minor Latin American hit, Mama de la Mama, a few years ago.

Im 43 mate. I was just little to young. Had probably 4 mix tapes per year he did back in the day. He innovated, and best bit i liked he didn't really get those bad mcs over the top. Time machine would be handy. One love😂 unity.

Putting a bit of card in bottom of tape to record over some commercial cack. Hope slipmatt has a big mansion and has easy enjoyable lifestyle. He brought all the fun. Would be as big as any artists nowadays easily. One love dude. Still keep the rave alive 😁

The amount of people who think hardcore music died in the 90s makes me sick, just because you growed up it didn’t just stop, 2006 to 2013 was awesome, im 46 btw and went to the old dreamscapes and helter skelters

Bliss at The Gallery with DJ Tim and Saturdays with Steve Luigi and the Warehouse other weekends circa 90-93. Up yer Ronson at Music Factory and Back to Basics Saturday for the “ more discerning clubber”😂. Everyone dressed in designer, supping Becks but still smashed on proper Es. New Yorkers , phase 4, Dennis the Menaces , White Burgers. Kaos, Soak, arc , phobia , after dark at Morley , Hard times. Those were the days.
